So what? I wouldn't wear my boots with socks unless I was in a very cold place, and then it would be for warmth, not aesthetics.

She was trying on the ones ( $ 181.00) that I liked and wanted to order, after seeing her try them on barefoot, I deceided I really did not need them

@Rm107 - Well how silly, if you really wanted them. Do you honestly think they're going to send you the pair she tried on? People try on shoes in B&M stores all the time and a lot don't wear any socks or hosiery. With QVC you'd have been sent a pair from stock, not the on-air presentation. SMH.

@Kachina624 Not in my world. I don't want to pay for someone else's athlete's foot. That is just very unsanitary. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, etc., so many people got athlete's foot that way. It is very hard to get rid of and can be limb-losing for a diabetic.

I don't think you need to worry about them sending you the exact boots that Jane tried on. Most likely you would have received a new untried pair.

Sorry, but I find it gross. She doesn't have pretty feet to begin with, and then she stuffs them in all the samples. Not a pleasant sight.

If you've ever been shoe shopping in a self service shoe department, very few ladies use the disposable foot coverings offered. Even in Nordstroms you do not have to wear foot coverings.

Different day and age. I remember being afraid I'd be arrested if I tried on shoes barefooted at Shoe Town.

@lulu1 Less well-educated people nowadays. Educated people know that it causes disease, the main reason restaurants do not allow you to tread barefoot in their stores.
