Do real, everyday women really wear printed shoes?

I see printed shoes on QVC and on HSN but I don't recall ever seeing any real life women wearing them. This spring I bought a pair of yellow shoes and I wear them as my everyday - running around town shoes. They get a lot of compliments. I think yellow shoes are about as untraditional as I could comfortably go. I do own a pair of snakeskin dress shoes, but the print is very subtle.

It depends on how you are defining 'real, everyday'.

I am real, I work everyday, I wear printed shoes. Especially pumps. I have a couple pairs w/ designs and I get compliments all the time. One pair of floral Marc Fisher pumps get noticed and complimented all the time. Look super with slim jeans!

In offices, I see them on other women all the time.

Yes, I’ve seen printed shoes on people. In fact, I used to have a pair of printed Alegria sport-type shoes and I got compliments on them all the time.

To me there's nothing at all odd about printed shoes. I've had them occasionally. Mostly it's been printed dressy shoes with heels, but also slip on canvas shoes, loafers, or other little ballet type shoes.

I see people wearing them here sometimes. It's not your run of the mill shoe, but I don't think they are that off the beaten path. There are even printed shoes and purses with college team logos on them. Those are very common here.

That’s exactly why I got mine. I normally wear solid colors, usually neutrals. I don’t like prints on my body, especially near my face. A printed (or bright color) shoe adds a bit of color and interest.

The only place I saw them routinely was in the OR where I worked. The prints jazz up boring scrubs.

The TSV is not something that interests me. You have to be careful when wearing a printed shoe, I have seen many faux pas with them.

Also, Alegria are highly over priced IMO

This thread is quite a coincidence. I'm in my office today and went for my morning stretching-my-legs walk downstairs to Starbucks inside Target. Of course I wander over to their shoe selection. I just bought a pair of gorgeous flat printed mules.

I have several pairs of printed shoes: pumps, wedges, espadrilles, ankle boots and mules. They are worn a lot here where I live and work. I'm very particular about the print, but I love them. Even if I was the only one, I'd still wear mine.

I also love bold colors sometimes in my shoes. Amy Stran has mentioned many times that she loves a bold pop of color in her shoes, even if the color is nowhere in her outfit. I've always been exactly like that. [That's the only thing I have in common with petite, adorable Amy Stran! .] I have fuchsia suede pumps, yellow/mustard flats, green moccasins, etc.

Sure they do, I see printed shoes on the feet of many ladies...young and old. They are quite common around here,

i don't find them unusual at all..

Other than snakeskin or alligator I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing a printed dress shoe. I have seen printed shoes at the gym.

I have owned animal print shoes before. Otherwise I'm not a fan of printed shoes. I've seen some printed pumps I think look cute but I know I'd not get enough use out of them to justify the purchase.

I rarely if ever see anyone in printed shoes like the TSV today except for people in hospitals wearing them with scrubs.

But if I liked them, I would wear them, regardless of what other people are wearing. I just don't care for this TSV at all. Not the prints, not the style of the shoe, not the heel. There isn't a thing I like about them.

I see printed shoes quite often about. Mostly on ladies in health care. These are usually Sanita or Dansko. I have a pair of cowprint clogs that I love!

I have a LOT of colored loafers: dark pink, light pink, turquoise, yellow, lime green, coral, red! I LOVE them and wear them all the time! Oh and silver and matte bronze/gold.

Yes I do, not everyday but I have summer shoes with flowers on them and clogs that are hand painted with hippie peace signs and flowers, the mary janes have dream catchers.
