I would like to suggest to make plain leather designs for your shoes. I hate the thought of snakes on my feet...I simply do not buy because of this. I hear the word and turn the channel. Thank you for your consideration.

That's a perfectly legitimate suggestion, but I cant help but wonder, how does the thought of having cows on your feet strike you?

Pretty sure their snakeskin design is embossed and dyed on plain ol' cow.

Now I've heard everything. The snakeskin is merely a texture, something more interesting than plain smooth leather. The skins of snakes and reptiles are some of Mother Nature's most beautiful. Of course the Vionics are just simulated, imitation and not the real thing.

on the flip side, I would prefer a shoe that is made of leather, not plastic

more comfortable in the summer

Vionic makes a line of "platform" sandals, similar to what you ordered. Mostly thongs style, though.

Think I'll keep shopping!

Yes, we have choices..won't be ordering Vionic's again. Wasn't only strap issues fit was off and quite frankly..style was not flattering on my feet.

Definitely unable to wear thongs like coverage over my feet (veins)

Have to give it up to reviewer, uncertain ordering without presentation.

She gave such an accurate and unbiased review. I am very happy.

Hope I was clear -- I like the Alegria style that you ordered better than the Vionic.

Looks more comfy and stylish to me.

I've gotten stuck thinking of Vionic because I have a pair that I like.

But, I'm definetly going to shop around.

Incredible loud very loud sound shoes make when walking.

On going problem with this brand, To bad. Loved the style.

When I say loud, deafening no exaggeration.

@Sweet_Serenity. It's not an on-going problem. I've got well over 2 doz pairs of Alegrias and never had a noise problem with a single one of them. There seems to be something wrong with the footbed that either moves around or traps then expells air. They need to test each shoe at the factory and not sell them.

Discovered that Vionics makes a kitten heel pump that I would love to try, but it is very pricey (for me) $140.

I'm going to check Dillards and elsewhere and maybe it will go on sale one day

I love a tiny heel, and they are not easy to find in a comfortable shoe.

@Witchy Woman,Dillards offen waits "until the cows come home" to have a sale. Be careful and don't lose them especially if you are an 8 or 8 1/2.
