The face is not a flat brown. It is metal and has a nice bronze-ish shine to it.</P> <P>I felt my everyday watch is a bit on the dressy side and was looking for something fun.</P> <P>I have other watches but they have leather straps and I wanted a plastic, resin or jelly one this time.
