OMG how FUN are these????????????? I was just on their site today and never saw any of these.

I fell in love w/these when they first came here, bought LOTS of them different styles, loads of colors/patterns. Then I basically sttled on the wider single strap version. Now they don't sell this one anymore. I have lots of the narrower one and I wear them all the time spring/summer.

@NicksmomESQ I had that one you noted but in more a lighter british tan color from amazon, I really like this style w/the big buckle but they just didn't feel or look quite right on me. I returned them.

@lolakimono I'm checking these out at the N - I must possess a pr of ankle straps!!!!

I wonder if any are 36N, they limit that size in the more fun styles. I loved the sandals on the bottom of the photo.

I've been looking at all the new sandals there, trying to decide which one to get!

I bought so many from QVC. I wish I knew why they stopped selling them. HSN sells a few styles, so I wonder what happened with QVC.

@mom2fourQVC didn't have a choice. Birkenstock ceased doing business with QVC due to QVC's demands on low pricing, often free shipping, always having a vendor from Germany, TSV's, etc., etc. Birkenstock didn't need QVC so they said, "NO WAY" to those crazy demands . . . and simply stopped doing business with any shopping channels. Can't say I blame Birkenstock. At least they haven't had to compromise themselves for the frenzy of a hard sell. Frankly, I'm proud to say I still buy mine at Dillard's or the local Birk Store or birkenstock dot com. Works for me.

@lolakimono @mom2four @StraytoStay @PINKdogWOOD @GCR18 I received an email from birkenstock dot com about a week ago. They have several style of the big buckles this spring! I've ordered a two-strap (with the original footbed) with the big buckles. They should be here tomorrow. Now, if it would warm UP. Tonight it is dropping down to 30. UGH!!

BTW: Those toe-loop sandals are fabulous. Don't have those latest colors, but have three pair and wear them a lot. Cute and comfy.

evidently they have changed their minds. there are currently 25 birkenstock items on HSN with free shipping and all with flex pays.

i do have a number of birkenstocks......more in the cute designs that hsn and qvc used to have. i have slowly been changing over to vionics because they make my feet feel so good.

we used to have a stand alone birkenstock store nearby, but it closed a few years ago unfortunately.

Thanks for posting @lolakimono! I love the first pair. Actually I love them all!

I started wearing Birks when I was 20. My first pair was a man's Arizona, and I still have them. I wore heels to work, but as soon as I came in the door my heels and my contacts came off and out!

They are the reason I found QVC. We moved and I didn't have MY store any longer. The manager used to look out for us, getting cute styles in once in a while. Up here there were stores, but I already had most of what they sold! But when I saw the selection here - WOW! Claudia was the guest, and I watched almost every show she was on. And my "collection" grew!

When they left QVC I went to a local store, but they carried only the basic models. Then I discovered Birkenstock.com. I didn't know Nordstrom's carried them, but I do now!

I'll have to admit I've branched out since being here. Alegria is one of my favorites now.

Aren’t there competing branches of the family that owns Birkenstock? Seems as though they were on both channels at the same time before, but HSN had styles from one of the companies and QVC had another? Anyway, I had read the same thing about Birkenstock dropping the Q, not the other way around.

I wonder what happened to the actual Birkis line, they are the only ones that fit my feet perfectly. I've tried Papillio and Birkenstock and sadly they just don't fit the same, too narrow even in the Regulars and if I go up to a 38, too long. I'm a 37R in the Birki's soft footbed shoes. I've worn them every day for years, and no matter where I look, I can't find any new ones.

@BirkiLady, I was looking at those big buckle sandles last night. They are really cute!! Which color did you get?

I've really been liking the soft footbed lately, and I think that will be my next purchase.

@mom2four Mine arrived today! In the Ceramic Pattern Blue (which is a neutral with a deeper blue pattern across the top of the foot). Bet the Ceramic Rose would be lovely, too. Navy seems to be my go-to color for skirts, slacks (jeans, of course) and a lot of shoes & bags.
