I don't think feet are gross....they are just feet. We need them and often treat them poorly. They can be gnarly for sure from how we treat them but that does not make them gross to me. I am thankful for the ones I have whether they are gross looking, gnarly from years of heavy use or just plain worn from the years just like the rest of my body. That being said, wearing sandals that don't fit properly makes no sence to me.

I refuse to buy sandals where my feet don't entirely fit 100% on the shoe. I wear a size six, so I don't have big feet. Sometimes, the sandal is not made wide or long enough for the feet to fit on properly. Some brands are cut shorter than others.

I suppose a close toe shoe can fit same way. No wonder our feet hurt in shoes.

I always size up a half size when I buy sandals and they usually fit perfectly with a tiny bit of space at the toes which is much nicer looking on the foot than the toes hanging over. (or the heel for that matter) Makes it look like these women think their feet are smaller than they actually are!! And PLEASE get a pedicure before exposing your toes girls!!

That's why I can't wear most "peep toe" sandals.

They are not made properly and when I walk, my big toe tries to protrude through and it is very uncomfortable, like walking around all day with a hole in your hose or socks.

@ECBG

Over the edge toes does not always indicate the shoe is too short. The pitch may be too great without the security to hold the foot in place.
