Clarks have been my favorite shoes forever. But the last 8 pair have not fit correctly. I'm returning 2 pair today. It feels like the shoes are cut differently. Are they using a different manufactor? Please go back to your old fit.

I have been so disappointed in Clarks shoes this summer. They got moree fashionable earlier this year and then did a sharp u-turn. Heavy handed straps, bulky sandals, and athletic shoes that are at best comfortable. I own 24 pairs of Clarks because of comfort. I just returned two pairs I canceled that got shipped anyway! I've found myself leaning to other brands for style. I'm 68, so this isn't an age issue. The reason I wrote this is because the last 6 or so shows have been to sell what hasn't already sold in the last couple of months. While I understand the purpose, my friends and I are feel we waisted our time watching. How about saving a few wows for actual summer months when they get designed.

I will not purchase Clarks again after the last three pairs have been so off in sizing, plus with the squeaking that goes on when I walk, I'm done with them.

I see them as cheaply made and way overpriced.

I was a Clark's girl for years. I felt they were the most comfortable yet cute (or a least interesting) comfortable shoe. The last year or so I stopped buying them from QVC because the Q is not selling anything except sandals that all look alike. I have found better Clark's selections at other sites and stores with cheaper prices. But even then, when I have ordered directly from Clark's on their website the shoes I receive are not quite as represented or don't fit properly.

This past winter I tried to buy a few pairs of Clark's boots only to find that they have discontinued zippers on their mid shaft boots. I can't get a boot on unless it zips opened.

Fisherman sandals are now being made with "Velcro" fastenings around the ankle, which would be OK if there was enough Velcro overlap to make them truly fittable. The pair I tried I could barely get the Velcro to reach and grab.

All in all I feel like the brand is making too many short cuts in manufacturing and have lost the quality I always trusted.

Wonder if the company has changed their upper management and their mission statement.

Wonder if Steve is still there and in what role. He as very knowledgeable about the shows and was very funny to boot. I am not a fan of the new rep - Amy?

Wonder if this will get poofed.

I do agree with you. Support is lacking. They run wide. They get loose after wearing just a bit. The leather is "not all that." The styles get a bit clunky.

I have to wear good shoes at all times. This has prevented worsening foot problems. I wear no heels, only shoes with good arch supports. I wear tie shoes when cleaning the house. I've avoided a bunion and gotten rid of plantar fasciitis by buying and wearing good shoes.

Clarks, sadly, are out of the pack. I wear Vionics, which also run wide but I go down a size, and I wear Rykas and Beautifeel (sooooo expensive.) And Merrells for rough terrain.

I find that I must try on Clarks shoes in store as the sizing in length and width varies from one style to another. The other day Winners had a lot of different styles of Clarks sandals and I think some of them were past TSVs too. I tried on the various styles and while the footbed was comfy, some were too narrow and all had leather straps that were unconfortable. I'm not sure why I couldn't find one pair that had confortable straps but maybe it's because they were made as TSV sandals. I have a couple pair of the Sugar footbed shoes... Sugar Spice in a 7.5 W and a Sugar Maple in a 7.5 W. Both are closed back shoes with a 2 inch heel. They were comfortable right out of the box and I will wear them with jeans and pants in the fall. They are both black leather shoes. The Sugar Spice shoes I've seen on QVC but I think that they are sold out of the wide shoes.

I also have other Clarks ballet flats that are 8 M and one pair of kitten heel pumps in an 8.5 M.

I thought I would update my thoughts about Clarks shoes.

I had a nice pair of black flats called Recent Drive in a size 8M but after about 6 months of wearing them the left shoe which was always a bit tight on the top of my left foot started to bother my left big toe as the seam on top of the big toe metatarsal joint was digging in and hitting a nerve so I decided to get rid of those shoes.

I also will try on various Clarks shoes in a Ronson shoe outlet store in Canada and many of the Indigo by Clarks shoes are uncomfortable because the shoes including pumps and sandals have too much of a pitch and the B width is too narrow in the forefoot. It really just depends on the shoes. I've tried on 8M which are too tight and 8W which are huge and loose all over. I simply must try on a lot of Clarks shoes to get them to fit well. This isn't unusual to the Clarks brand though as I find this to be true of every brand of shoe.
