My problem with those shoes is that they remind me of the special orthopedic shoes that people had to wear when they were born with foot and leg deformities. Those HUGE platforms are way too much in my opinion.

Well they aren't for me. I wear sneakers when I have to because of back issues. If I can wear wedges, they won't be sneakers, lol.

They don't seem over the top like some of the sneaker wedges. I can see where they could appeal to some.

I purchased a similar pair of woven-stretchy shoes (different brand) a couple of years ago. They were very comfortable. However, when walking down the sidewalk, I stepped on an uneven surface and my foot slid to the side and off the sole, because the material stretches. I severely bruised my big toe joint. The stretcy material provdes no support and just stretches if you foot moves sideways. Tried wearing them again and had the same problem. My foot slid off the shoe just getting out of the car - more pain.

I posted in the HSN forums first thing this morning that I thought these shoes look like something prescribed for a person with severe foot problems.

They look horrendous.

I have some of the woven elastic shoes and don't care for them at all. It's like wearing a girdle on your feet. They're hot and tend to get tighter and tighter as the day goes on. I think the style of the TS is hideous, like old-lady shoes used to be.

I wavered until the last minute and then bought a pair in bronze. I looked at a whole lotta reviews for these types of woven shoes before I placed my order. I ordered 1/2 size up.

I am concerned about the comments of slipping out of them at the heel. Others said there is no support around the foot. I am concerned about those heel comments but considering that flip-flops don't have support around foot, I kinda discounted those.

Also, these have bungee ties at the top like a sneaker so that too might mitigate the no foot support comments.

I thought they looked cute shown with the black jeggings and if these shoes work for me they will be a nice replacement to some of my worn out fall shoes.

I ordered these in silver, size 7, and they arrived today. Going back tomorrow. I should have ordered up a half size, didn't care for the way they looked, couldn't figure what to wear them with often enough to get my money's worth. What was I thinking?

My bronze shoes arrived. I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit fine and seem quite comfy. But the bottom of the sole is like wearing ice skates when walking on my wood floor. Twiggy London boots have that issue too. I'll have to get some kind of gripped tape or scuff up the bottoms to feel a bit more sucure walking in them.

I think they are really cute and I have no problem with any support issues that are mentioned about these woven-type shoes. I have a lot of jeans and jeggings I'll be wearing these with. Bring on fall!
