Yes, I have had a boxer who we showed before. My youngest child let him out of the house when no one was looking and he was killed. My heart was so broken I could not bear to get another one....Years later I was still having dreams about him. Well, last week I was at the shows and a friend asked me about getting a new one. I have concentrated on boston terriers and still love them too but when I laid eyes on this boy I was blindsided. He looks and acts so much like my boy I lost that everyone who knew my previous boxer said that it was spooky. The breeder/handler did not plan on selling him but when she saw my instant bond with Rudy she let me take him home. Rudy fills a huge hole in my heart which has been there for a long time. The breeder is going to continue to put him in the ring but for the moment he too is lying at my feet. I don't not know everything there is to know about boxers. I have pulled out my books and figurines and other belongings from my other boy. I remember a lot but I will brush up on my boxer knowledge. If you have any advice to give I am open to suggestions.
