What handbags say "Hello Spring" to you?

Right now I am deep in the closet doing my spring cleaning. Folding up clothes not worn in 2 years and collecting some oldie but goodie handbags to go to a new home.

However, now I have some gaps to fill and thoughts turn to Spring. Fall is my big favorite and I just slog thru summer and winter, but I do like Spring. Thoughts go back to a little kid (me) going to church on Easter Sunday. I had to have a spring coat since I lived in Ohio; now I live in California and my coat mostly lives in the car "just in case".

As a kid I loved black and white which didn't work really since I have summer coloring. I once had a sophisticated black dress with a white collar with pink rosettes and I got sent home from the party because I looked pale and "peaky".

Not to be deterred, I still love black as my primary wardrobe color and black and white accessories for Spring.

Hi Cindy -you probably won't be surprised by my answer but I'm loving the Midnight Stripe pattern from VB! I'm totally a basic color dresser and black and white are my go to with a pop of color from accessories. That being said, I think the Kate Spade with the white flowers is very catching.

I love bright pastels for spring.... hot pink, vivid blues, lavender. Black and white is always a sharp look, but by the time spring rolls around, I want color.

I'm a fall and winter person, but do enjoy spring, when we get a nice and not soggy one... Don't care for summer... That said, I don't often tend to do seasonal bags for spring or summer and when I do, it's very rare that I'll buy nicer bags for those seasons...

Brahmin sent me an e-mail with their new Spring looks...great pastels and a coral color pop. Soooo luxe.

I have a Soprano floral print (cream, yellow, beige, and gray tones) bowler bag with tan handles and trim that I think of as a spring and summer handbag, I bought it in the fall and only carried it for about a week before putting it away until spring as the finish on the bag is nubuck so I'm worried that it will stain easily. I've seen similar leather bags on ShopHQ under the Buxton brand (Soprano in Canada and Buxton in the U.S. are made by the same company) so when it's spring I will bring this bag out again.

Right now in the doldrums of January I'm carrying a bright red crossbody handbag as it's cheerful looking!

Pretty much anything but black, especially in sunny California but prior to my new hobby I used to carry same black bag all year round....

When this brand was mentioned before, I took a look and thought they appeared to be very much like some of the Buxton bags I'd seen offered.

Spring? It's early January, 19 degrees outside and they are forcasting below zero tomorrow. My mind just won't go to thoughts of Spring now, Winter just kicked in.
