I got the ""grey"" ostrich and I would describe it as structured although it doesn't feel or smell like leather at least not mine. It smells like vinyl and feels like it too. It is a beautiful design but I don't think it's leather.

The Gili TSV in the ostrich and croco print are being call "stiff" not only on the Q boards/reviews but also on other sites. I have the croco and I'll admit it isn't the soft, can make into a ball type leather but I wouldn't call it "stiff". In my option a "stiff" leather can not be folded or bent without causing a crease. My croc bag I can roll up in any direction, bottom to top, top to bottom or side to side. I don't think I would be handle to do that with a "stiff" leather. It could be that I don't understand what is meant by "stiff". Maybe I am confusing "stiff" with "ridged". To me the croc bag is made of a "sturdy" leather. Please chime in with your thoughts and help out this obviously confused poster, lol

Stiff and rigid are synonyms. Both mean ""not easily bent"". English isn't my first language but I would not use ""sturdy"" as an adjective describing leather.

Would you, if you own one, call the dooney croco bags "stiff"? Not the new fino line since I have never felt one in person but the regular croco line. TIA
