still looks like she is not feeling well....I know she was ill during PMS.....LR mentioned it...her eyes tell it all and she is not smiling and bubbly like normal...

I feel so sorry for the models....they put in way too many hours I don't know when they get to sleep.....or spend time with their husbands and children....

I hope Jackie gets to go home after the orYANY show is over and not have to come back for the rest of the day....she needs to rest....

"Poor models"?? Umm....sorry, but I bet they make "crazy" money doing that "hard" work....and some people work harder for less..... I bet she had an option to take a day off if she really wanted to.....

THe models don't have very strenuous jobs! The women who have to work 2-3 jobs are the ones that I am concerned about!

Excellent point! There are soooo many "out of work" models, to boot. I'm under the impression that the QVC models work longer hours because it's worth the money. Now, if someone is ill, they probably should stay home. It's not fair to put others at risk.

I bet most of us work when we're sick. Most of us probably don't spend enough time with our partners and children. A lot of us work too many hours. It's called life.

Last year this same thing occurred. it was Jackie modeling and she was sick and it was obvious to EVERYONE. She looked miserable and would not smile. She should not have been on the job if she was that ill ... it was making everyone uncomfortable including the host, vendor and the possibly the viewers. She looked angry.

There will always be people who work longer and harder, but I generally find there's enough compassion to go around. The interesting thing too is it doesn't cost anything or hurt anyone...

Hey, I agree, it is unfortunate if she needs to work while being sick, but there is no need to "feel sorry" for her... Unless of course she tried to take a day off but was forced to work anyway, now that would be really bad.

I agree, if you want to feel sorry for someone that works long hours, feel sorry for someone tht cleans toilets & floors...the models seem to have it pretty easy! especially Jackie, the hosts all seem to make over her, call attention to her & kinda ignore some of the other models! I'm sure Jackie has a nice life or she would do something else!!!

OP- are you kidding? How many of us have had to go to work when we are not feeling our best. Having worked in entertainment I can assure you Jackie is handsomely paid for a job that is hardly taxing or demanding.

Why anyone would care about a TV model is beyond me!

Feeling sorry for the models is ridiculous. My husband is a corporate Executive. He leaves the house to commute to work at 6:00am and doesn't get home until 9:15 every evening. Frequently he works from home on the weekends and I have never been on a vacation when he is not on the phone with his office. In addition, the stress and responsibility that his has is as intense as it gets. The models, put on clothes and walk around so really - how low key can one get!!!!

QVC is a shopping channel. What's wrong with the OP commenting about someone they are seeing on TV? Some of these posts are just .

The models might not have strenuous job, but they do sometimes put in long hours. Especially if there's a clothing or makeup TSV, then it seems like they're on camera 24 hours. They probably don't have time to go home during the day. I wouldn't want that job, especially if I had to be on my feet for long hours..
