Why not? There are lots of MLB fans out here. Dooney has several different items in MLB team design & the DugOut stores here in CO carry them in the Colorado Rockies design. I was thinking about getting a clutch myself.

I don't know, but you might do an internet search to see if you can find them at lower prices elsewhere. You might also check with the Orioles store that sells their gear.

My take on it is she doesn't care for the baseball themed bag. ANY baseball team.

Love em! Wish they had been around when I was growing up. I grew with baseball "" literally"" as my Dad's profession was a semipro baseball player. These bags aren't new to the Dooney ""lineup"" as they have been on the website over a year. Peter Dooney introduced these at Yankees ball game at Yankee Stadium.

I get it completely, but didn't 'go there'. I considered the satchel with the Nationals logo, but ultimately didn't want to pay that much for a novelty bag... Then again, I rarely will pay the freight for seasonal florals or colors... I also wonder if they might have done more business has they opted to do a football bag instead of baseball. Who know, maybe they will. I will say, though, that whenever I visit one of my 'go-to' store sites to look at Dooney bags, the ongoing volume of these baseball logo bags and the spring and summer colors and patterns is sort of an annoyance, as I'd like to see more day to day bags and fewer novelty and seasonal items. The volume of all of these sorts of bags remaining also makes me wonder how well they sold.

What's not to get? It's a line made for baseball fans. I am a die-hard Yankees fan and was stalking the classic satchel since last summer when they first came out with the Yankees print. Fortunately for me, my boyfriend surprised me with it for my birthday last December. It combines two of my favorite things...the Yankees and Dooney!

I agree...I would've never paid that much for coated cotton novelty bag. For me, it was the perfect gift someone could give me...something I loved but would never buy for myself. It looks even better now with the patina...I love it!

I guess D&B has to appeal to everyone, even the sport lovers. Personally I would never wear anything with a sports logo; fashion or otherwise. I dislike sports and anything to do with them. They are overpaid for playing games.
