You've done the Soho, but I'd like to see a decent Birkin look-a-like in decent leather.....I will never be able to afford the real thing (nor would I spend that much if I could afford it).

Great idea! Enough with the totes and hobos... You could park your car in some of those bags. Something more structured and an entirely different silhouette would be VERY welcome.

And incidentally, I thought they were going to play the LRS theme music throughout the whole show last night. It's like someone couldn't figure out how to turn it off and it just kept running and running while she was trying to talk. Very annoying.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who would like to see this happen.......a nice change of pace from the slouchy bag look. I've looked at the real Birkin on Gilt, but they're WAY over my price point.

Ok,a birkin copy just might force me to actually buy a GILI item! But by my name,it's not hard to guess what my dream bag is..lol. if a really good quality copy could be made I could not resist...it's the most fabulous,beautiful bag .I fell in love at first sight. So maybe I should hold they don't succeed??

Saw two vintage ones on hautelook yesterday...$14,000+ and $30,000+. Yep, a GILI (sans defects) seems like a good plan.

What a great idea! Thank you for coming up with it and submitting it.

I'd like to add that cost-cutting in what might seem to be negotiable areas is prohibited. No vinyl in spots where leather should be or hardware that will peel or change color. All leather, sturdy lining, good hardware.

Oh gosh EEL, it just really is hopeless... Try as we might, there is just no filling this never ending need for handbags!

I do seriously wish Lisa and Company WOULD come up with a different type of bag though. Personally, I think the Gili bags are decent for the money and a faux Birkin or other designer type bag would be a nice change... There are SO many options, it seems silly to stick with nothing but these huge tote type bags... A "Speedy" style satchel, a quilted Chanel type bag, a Birkin... Really, variety should be the name of the game instead of QVC just incessantly doing the same thing over and over!
