    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Dooney doctor-type satchel from back in the '80's and noticed it has a serial number, or ID number, on the inside.  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Can anyone explain to me what the significance of that number might be?  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I had tried contacting the company with that question but never got a response.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
