D&B TSV Disappointment!

Yesterday my pink bag came in the mail in that HUGE box which is not necessary, waste of materials. Anyway, I really wanted to love it and I was so excited about the pink one, but for some reason, it looked drab and almost like it wasn't new. Then when I looked inside, I noticed that there was just some paper, the cover and the key fab. Wasn't it suppose to come with a matching mini wallet? So I am disappointed and now have to send it back in that HUGE box.

What a pain! It should have come with the phone case, call Q, they will have to pay for return shipping since it is missing the accessory.

I am surprised the pink wasn't prettier.

Ugh! I ordered the pink and was so afraid it wouldn't be as bright and pretty as it appeared on the screen. This seems to happen with pinks a lot. Mine won't be here for a few days yet. I'm kind of disgusted, cause I saw a beautiful black patent Dooney at Macy's (same shape) during Friends and Family and it has the same trim. I would have bought it. I should have! Just call and have them pick up the box at your house. You can click on return on the item and you have the option of clicking for pickup. I wouldn't carry a huge box to my post office for sure.

I just got my pink one and love it. The color is perfect and the bag is not weirdly shiney. I am happy with it and it camed perfectly wrapped, every pull tab and piece. All of my pieces were included.

Gigy, if you change your mind about the color, I would just contact the Q about the missing piece.

I am wondering if these shipped directly from Dooney. Mine was sent from SoCal and got to me today. That is really quick.

Thanks everyone, I am so happy that you all love your pink bags. I need to call customer service and let them know that I didn't receive my cell phone case. Didn't know that was what they were calling it. Probably just return the bag this time.

To the OP......

Was this a brand new style or color?

I didn't see the show and am not a particular fan of D&B but when I read your post I wondered if maybe you didn't get someone's return (that they kept pieces of!) if it wasn't something totally new. If pieces were missing and it wasn't wrapped the way you expected, maybe that's the case. Can you contact customer service and have them send you a new one and see if it looks better and has all the missing items?

It was brand new and a TSV over the weekend. There was literally no time for them to have gotten a return and shipped it out. It was probably just packaged wrong. It's possible that it was a sample used on TV, but those usually get sold as "as is" items.

Oh but it could well have been a return. This bag has been available to 'Insiders' for quite a while. It was presented on air for the first time over the weekend, but it was widely available for several weeks prior to it being on the air. Sorry for your disappointment, OP. You might want to return it as defective since it is missing 'parts' (letting them cover the return shipping) and order another.

If returning, you have another option than going to the post office. If you are using the Q's merchandise return label, you can go online - to the usps.com website - and schedule a pick up. Your postal carrier will pick up your return box while he or she is delivering the regular mail. Just as you can schedule free pick-up for Priority Mail, you can do the same when using a Return Merchadise label.

Sorry you don't like your bag!

eta: the scheduled pick-up will be free for you; the P.O. does not charge when these labels are used

I don't call the post office when I return using the label. I put the package out with a note on my mailbox to the mailman to please pick up. He always does.

I had that happen with the hobo that has been on for years. The kiss lock mini was missing. They told me I had to return the whole bag...but they were out of ivy at the time.

Little did I know that 5 years later they STILL have the same bag in ivy!
