Pansy Letter Carrier Colors

I am interested in the new Dooney Pansy Letter Carrier (crossbody). It comes in blue, yellow and pink floral. The Pansy pattern is available in two other styles, and the reviews are 5 stars for one style listed on-line. I know this is a small crossbody bag, but that's what I'm looking for at this time. My question is this: which color would be more neutral to wear with summer colors? I have mostly purples, pinks, and blues in my summer wardrobe. I also have mostly those colors in prints. Thank you.

That's a tough question because the last thing those bags are is neutral.

They're so pretty but incredibly busy looking.

They're going to fight with just about everything you wear unless it's the plainest of outfits. I think they need a single color dress or two tone outfit with with a plain top and plain bottom.

So I'd be looking to see what I wear that's like that.

Thank you, Pagan, for your reply. I think you are right. I wear a lot of prints, and I also carry Vera Bradley Hipster print bags. I find I mostly wear bags that have two or three colors, with a black or navy background. Some of the other bags are more difficult to wear, because of the color and pattern. Also, I noticed that this Dooney bag is even smaller than the VB Hipster (which I love). So I may have problems putting much of anything in the bag. It's quite expensive for something I'd only wear a few times a year.

Hello, I have this bag in the yellow, and most of the flowers are white, I like that. It goes with most things for me, but I just don't wear prints.

Pagan is correct, I think the bag will fight with most prints.

Drythe, thanks for letting me know that you have this bag in yellow. One thing I'd like to ask: do you find the bag too small and hard to get into? I normally carry the Vera Bradley Hipster (just the right size for me), and the dimensions of the D&B Letter Carrier are a bit smaller. Can you get your wallet, cell phone and a small cosmetic bag in the Letter Carrier?
