I LOVE Tignanello handbags and have been buying them for years but lately all of their bags have such short straps. Don't they make an actual shoulder bag anymore? Would love to see some bigger bags with longer straps. I never carry a bag on my wrist or by the short handles. Bring them back, please!

Agree with you. Seems to be the style to have shorter handles. Or even worse, the two-fer handles. The short ones and the removable long one. Hate that.

I won't buy a bag that I can't put over my shoulder (with a single set of handles.). For me, that has to be at least 9 inches drop. (Why, yes, I measured!)

I also agree, loved the earliest bags, but the newer ones do have such short straps. But I love my early Tig bags, glove leather especially !

I think their cross body straps are on the short side, too. Especially the ones that aren't adjustable. I'm tall, and a cross body that's too shorts looks weird.

I find the same thing with Isaac Mizrahi's bags. I like shoulder straps that are long too.

If you have a handbag that has rings where the straps attach to the body of the bag, you can purchase longer handles if you go on line for Miche handbag components. I have a gorgeous reddish orange Fossil bag that had a strap that did nothing for the bag. I happened to go to a craft fair and saw the vendor's handbag that had thick braided leather straps. She saw my bag and showed me how I could change the look: I bought 2 braided straps--used one on the Fossil bag and the other on another. The handle was matte black and I added a Chico's black silk tassel and heart clip on. Every time I carry this "component customized" handbag, I get compliments. Also, I customized the different interiors using small square Velcro pads to create small sections for eyeglasses, tissues, coupons, pen and stylus, and special detachable carabiners for hanging my car remote ( I take the remote in with me to exercise sessions ) and even sunglasses in the unused upper space of the bag. I'm an organization queen!!!

I drive myself crazy trying to buy new bags. My requirement's sound simple- Must have one strap, long enough to fit under the "girls" so it doesn't fall down every time I move. No extra short handles. No purse with a double strap(one always is falling off my shoulder). Can't weigh a ton empty. I'd love a bag with a different color interior, so I can see into the bottom of it, but that's not a deal breaker.

Last purse I bought took me a year to find. Only bag I saw that came close before that? Pre-owned Louis Vuitton. And that one was over $600 and in denim cloth. No how, no way! This one's a Cole Haan. Found at TJ Maxx.
