      <title>Gift return nightmare for Dooney TSV</title>

      <description>Called CS about exchanging a defective bag that was a gift and the rep told me everything I needed to do to return it. I wrote a note with every single bit of info that the rep instructed- shipped usps priority with insurance and included the note. It arrived to Qvc on Friday(jan. 31). I called customer service to ask when the exchange would be processed. She said she has no info on the return and I need to find out who signed for the package. I am mortified to think I just sent a $300+ back(plus $20 shipping!) to qvc just to be told I'm out of luck! What is my next step? I can't get a straight answer from other reps!</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Give it more time. Holiday returns are their busiest time since everyone is sending back last minute. My recent return took about a week and a half before they even acknowledged the return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

When I return something to Amazon I get my refund within &lt;STRONG&gt;hours&lt;/STRONG&gt; of them receiving it.&lt;BR /&gt; Whats wrong with this picture QVC?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Go to the USPS web site and print out the delivery confirmation information,  so that you have it.  Sometimes this info disappears from the USPS web site.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Also,  give Q a few more days to process the return. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;As long as you have proof it was received,  you will get your credit.  I know it's annoying,  but try to be patient.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I would say give it some time. I returned a laptop in January and tracked it every day. I shipped it on January 17, and it was delivered to QVC on January 21 (the MLK weekend). My order status on QVC.com didn't acknowledge receipt until January 27, and I just received my credit this week. It usually doesn't take this long to process a return, but it may be the busy gift return period for them.</description>

That's what has me a bit worried since the CS rep told me they have to have that info.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Email the info to the Q with your  tracking #   and also go make a copy of your  receite from UPS.    I always do this if I send something big back  . The Q does take long .  But I do back up of things learned the hard way!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I returned something that was bought as a Christmas present. A few hours later I got a message saying they had issued a refund and the next day the refund was in my bank account. How is that possible? The package had not reached them yet. I was happy of course.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Keep in mind, I had no receipt. It was a gift exchange where I just sent a bag with no tags(leather peeled) and my customer info(and the original order number. I did email a copy of my usps receipt and the tracking number. Still haven't heard back but I am trying to be patient. I sure hope the gift giver's account wasn't refunded bc that would just be embarrassing.</description>

I was specifically told by CS that the gifter wouldn't know I exchanged it and that they would do the exchange through my account strictly. I made it very clear to the rep and he assured me that if I wrote down my account info, then everything would work out how I asked. It sounds like a big mess when it really should be simple.</description>
