Dooney question...

Hi, I just received A219909, I have wanted it forever. But when I took it out of the box the leather was like crumpled, and not smooth in places. I am sure it was a return, not packaged nice like the other purses I have received. My question is, will the creases fall out after a while? I hate to send it back and wait and get another one with the same problems. ( Happened to me before), but easy pay is so great here, i keep trying! Thanks.

If the leather is flawed, then it's probably not going to improve over time. If the leather is merely crimped, I'd stuff it with paper or fabric for a few days and hang it and see if the creases diminish. If they don't, I hate to say it, but send it back. You've invested too much to get a flawed bag and if you're like me, every time you look at it, it'll rankle... I don't know what color you got, but this bag is available as-is right now in ivy...

When you pay $250, you shouldn't "settle" for a possibly flawed purse. You can tell by how a purse is wrapped whether it's directly from the factory.

Call CS and report receiving a defective bag. Make sure they know you want to replace it............and you receive return shipping credit for a damaged purse.

I hate the rude way we as customers are condescended to when the Q & Dooney expect us to "settle" & be happy.

Edited because the purse was "defective" and had not "defected". :-)

I did call CS, and I am returning it, I thought about it all night, and I realized I did not order an "As IS " Dooney, it was not wrapped the way new bags are, and all the creases would bother me knowing I paid full price. I have been having a lot of problems lately with the quality of the products. I think it is time to take a break and shop other places.
