    <description>&lt;P&gt;After trying many several things, I found that the odor from a new handbag can be eliminated by placing it in a large plastic baggie stuffed with lots of newpaper print and leaving it there for about a week.    Does anyone know any other tricks?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
