Hello House cat, I think she might have been wearing a set of the skinny T-shirts? Not a good look for Pat. I agree, I have seen her look much better.

I was coming back to apologize for starting this thread. I woke up in a very negative mood this morning and I'm trying to shake it. I know that threads like this can turn ugly, and though that wasn't my intention, it tends to turn out that way.

Thank you all who commented for not turning this into a host bash. This is a fashion forum and it's the outfit I was questioning. I know I would not look good in a top like that and not a good look on Pat, either.

And house cat--don't worry about it! I would hope that if your usual chipper and positive self decides to wear something because you like it and think it is pretty, but may not be your best look, you will be kind to yourself. What a boring world it would be for all of us if sometimes we couldn't be less critical for ourselves and wear something just because it is pretty and we LIKE it! I am convinced that most women's over-critical attitude starts at home about ourselves. I doubt that many others see much difference in me in what I wear! LOL!!!

Can the OP delete a thread if, as in your case, she regrets it? I suppose not. At any rate, I don't know why a woman would wear a jeans jacket, on a fashion show no less.

I sometimes look at what a person has on a say what were they thinking but then again I say that about myself sometimes. When I see some of my purchases and then give away and think why did I buy that or change my mind the next season about it.

I do that too - look at clothes I haven't worn in a while, think they're ugly, and wonder why in the world did I buy that. Pat will probably feel the same about the jeans jacket.

I didn't think Pat looked like a hot mess at all. BUT I would not recommend wearing skinny tees as a visible top for anyone but the slimmest of gals.

I always admire people who will wear something that is a little ""retro"". It shows that they made a good buy in the first place. Why pitch a perfectly good jean jacket? Both the older one and the newer ones are basically the same thing.

It's a FASHION oriented business!!! No one is supposed to look ill dressed. Enough said!
