QVC sizing

Just a note to managment regarding sizing hoping they take note--

I completely understand that no store whether brick and mortar or on line, can fully accomodate every body type and size. I love QVC, but I have a few "issues" with their sizing:

1. I wish QVC would not rely on the old trick of vanity sizing. It makes choosing your appropriate size very tricky for first time customers and the inevitable multiple returns may discourage repeat ordering.

2. The "average" American woman is only 5' 3". The QVC models are beautiful and do a great job, but really how may gals do they represent at 5' 8" and taller? It's very difficult to judge where a top or dress will fall on a shorter woman. Host Amy, usually does a front or side tuck which is not helpful and the petite model, though lovely is a much bustier, curvy girl than most.

3. The lenght of tops is ridiculous. Most are 26 inches or longer now. These fit like dresses on an average woman. Believe me, covering a big booty does not make it look smaller. There are plenty of tunic lengths for those who believe this is more modest. They are also becoming more voluminous as well.

4. Why did they go change inseams from 28, 29 and 31 inches to 27, 30 and 33 inches?

QVC has been amazing at accomodating taller, larger women as well as disabled folks. Please consider designing for and representing a smaller frame, shorter woman too.

I find myself ordering less and less from QVC lately as I've had to return so many items at my expense.

Thanks for letting me vent

And I do like the 28" better also but I haven't noticed that all pants are now shorter. And honestly, the 28" tops work for me.

I feel QVC has to now stick to their vanity sizing. Many here know what size to order. If they swayed away from this they would have an overwhelming return rate.

I find the Click Here garment measurement 99% accurate.

As someone mentioned, we can't expect QVC, or any retailer, to accommodate only me. I find many brands too short or too boxy so I just pass them by. Other brands are perfect for me. There are so many options that I would never consider asking a retailer to make things just for me.
