What Color Does Not Look Good On You?

Is there a certain color clothing that you do not think looks good on you?

For me, it's red. I'm a brunette with warm skin tone. It was cooler outside yesterday and I wore a light weight red sweater I have not worn for many years. Now I remember why I have not worn it much - I did not feel good at all about my appearance yesterday even though I was wearing make up and had a good hair day.

How about you?

@BunSnoop For me it is gold and a pale yellow...

A nice medium yellow is better. Lately I've seen mostly very pale yellow garments that are new and I have to pass on them all.

...and red. With my strawberry blond/red hair, burgundy, wine and the deeper shades of red or much lighter shades like pink and mauve work nicely for me too.

I feel like yellow wash's me out. I also don't wear much black. I feel like it ages me.

I am a cool toned person. I do not look good in anything warm toned, (no yellows, oranges, browns, certain green colors). I wear a lot of pink, blue, black, purple, cool toned red colors, etc.

Ivory, beige, tan, light greens, light browns, goldy yellows, mauves, rosey pinks. I have coloring like Amy and Courtney but I now have salt and pepper hair mostly silver around my face. Need to be careful of colors and the brighter the better. Some day I would love to do a color evaluation...

Any warm colors do not look flattering on me. I am a cool-toned woman all the way, make-up, clothing, even accessories, e.g., jewelry (white gold instead of yellow gold)

Same for me @BunSnoop ! Red is not my color.... I love orange or coral or peach, but I dislike red on me.

But there are other colors I don't care for, mostly muddy colors like anything in the mustard yellow family, for one-

Same here! I can't wear olive, brown, or orange.

I'm also a white metal gal; yellow metals just don't look good on me.

@BunSnoop It seems like there are a lot of colors that look awful on me! I'm a cool toned brunette with a light olive complexion.

I can't wear anything with warm undertones....anything with orange, coral, rust, many light pastels. If I wear red it has to have a cool tone. I like a deeper shade more like a cool cranberry, wine or burgundy.

I think no color looks horrid on anyone. I don't care for black or neutrals, and just feel better wearing brights so I wear what I like. I love color.

I only wear cool colors. I look awful in warm shades. That includes orange, olive green, orange or yellow reds, brown, tan, cream, gold, some yellows and rust.

Not really. I have on a mango and white big striped t-shirt from Land's End right now. I really wear any color I like, and don't really see a noticeable difference. Fair skin, white hair, goes with anything and takes neutral foundations.
