I read an article in my local paper about taking your clothing and updating by making your skirt a little shorter, or changing your long sleeves to 3/4 sleeves, changing out buttons on blouses or blazers, adding a ruffle around a neckline or sleeve. I do have several skirts that I bought when the 32 - 35" lenght were popular that I would like to cut down to more knee lenght to wear with boots and tights this season. Any thoughts on this or any other suggestions for redesigning existing clothes?
