I am shocked at some of the prices. I just saw a 100% cotton short sleeved shirt from ME by Jenny Garth at $75! I am a VERY long time QVC shopper and I truly think they are going to lose peope. I now only buy brands that I like "on sale".

Between shipping/handling, return postage, and high prices, I think that Amazon is going to put them (and HSN) out of business. I would not want to see that happen but they need to be mindful of the prices they are charging now.

I hope that management is monitoring these comments.

I thought it was a high price also, but I just move on, don't purchase nor complain about it.

@Shopper II. I don't think Amazon clothing is much competition for QVC. Everything I've gotten there is off size, likely to shrink and fits strangely. I've given that up.

I saw lots of items I liked in Jennie's show but will wait for prices to go lower. If i miss out, I miss out if anything sells out.

That shirt was very cute & I liked every color but you're right too expensive. Everything was much pricier.

Amazon is a behemoth but comparing it to QVC is apples & oranges.

I don't know about this shirt nor do I buy online. But when I'm shopping in an actual store and I try on a shirt that I love and flatters my figure I have no problem spending $75 on it,

@Shopper II I agree about Amazon. I have gotten some nice pieces and also some that didn't fit. I think the trick is finding brands that you know fit well and stay with those. Amazon Basics are a sure thing for me for tees, underwear, robes, nighties, socks, etc. ...well, basics.

@Shopper II I saw the 9 PM show as well and could not get over the prices! Not affordable and agree with you. Going to lose a lot of shoppers. The every day person cannot afford the pricing of these items.

Seems everything is expensive these days. I have to shop where I can afford to shop. I feel like I don't have a choice and it isn't a good feeling either.

The Me line by Jennie Garth reminds me of alot of high priced items that the Anrhropologie stores sell.

Many of the Antropologie stores are closing .

As far as AMAZON goes it’s not where I buy my fashion. Maybe my husband’s sweatpants, but not mine. 😂

Bought many items over several years at Anthropologie. Atleast , they do put items on sale and will continue to reduce the price .

Thanks for this info. I wouldn't even know where to start with clothing from Amazon. Like some others, I'm not sure I could trust the fit or quality, either. But Basics might be an option.

YES you are correct that 100% CUTE cotton linen like top was $75. @Shopper II

I can guarantee the quality was there, since I have many items of Jennie’s in my closet.

When The Q has remote location shows the prices are always higher. 🥴

Put the top in your Wish List and wait for a good sale. That’s what I do. 😉

It is not just here, I was looking at some walking shoes and Yikes!!!! Last year they were not this high.

@Shopper II Her line is very pricey but I have heard on this board that they are of good quality.

I have to say, I have always thought full price for clothing is too high to pay. Even as a teenager I never shopped full price. In fact, my kids thought they could only buy items "on sale". They didn't even know you could purchase items that are displayed right in front. We always walked directly to the sales racks in the back.

As for Amazon? Nope, tried several items and nothing was of great quality nor did they fit well. Plus, they don't have a nice long video to watch to get ideas how they look as well as full garment measurements.

Shop as most of us here do @Shopper II , wait until items go on sale at a price you are willing to spend. If not, check Ebay.

@mnmom, the nice thing about Amazon is if you get something and don't like it, it's super easy to return and you get your refund so quickly in most cases. I am retired and at home all the time now but go to church on Sundays. I wanted respectable clothes to wear for church and other outings and took a chance on several tops from Amazon. I was shocked at how many very nice tops I have been able to buy there in the $20 to $30 range. I have gotten some nice pieces that are of very good quality there. I have gotten a few things that I tried on and said nope, and back they went but for the most part, I've had great luck with them. The biggest piece of advice though is to read through the sizing charts. Sometimes the sizing is very different and you need to know your measurements to try to get what fits best. But you could always try with just one thing and see what you think.

Besides the $75 cotton shirt on Jennie's show, how about the joggers "on sale for $79" now priced at $87! For joggers. . . unbelievable. They were cute with that pleating at the bottom.

The top that went with was on sale for $54 (but is now higher too) & sold well but why the bottoms are that much higher is beyond me.
