Bought Denim & Company's recent Classic Stretch Slacks (a TSV) that looked nice for at least three seasons. Tried them on today and was 99% disappointed!

They are the worst slacks I've ever ordered due to the fabric and the styling. So disappointed that I didn't know what those fibers were going to be.

And the postage!!! Holy cow. That would have stopped me had I known it would be so expensive for such a small package.

I did receive a T-shirt about an hour later from another vendor at QVC and am very happy with it, the price and the usual S&H. Wrote a great review!

I really wish QVC could address the problem with sizing issues. I absolutely hate to have to return items; however it seems to me that the sizing discrepancies are getting worse than ever. I like a lot of QVC's fashion and purchase quite a bit; however it used to be less frequent for me to have sizing problems; however now it seems like sizing differs not only from llne to line but even within the same line--sometimes even when ordering the same item. Anyone else frustrated with this problem? I want to continue to be able to order clothing from the Q as I like much of the fashion but don't want to have to keep returning, exchanging, etc.

I won't buy any garment from QVC unless I can see the actual measurements. I learned that years ago buying LOGO that the sizes vary even within a brand.

I know my critical measurements like bust, inseam, or waist (stretch items include the extended waist measurement) Then you take into account the fabric if it has any spandex, etc. I haven't returned an item for size in years, and I have bought everything from extra small to large because they do vary within the brand and certainly from brand to brand. I find the size chart meaningless.

@patticakes Since you asked, no, I really don't have a problem with sizing. First, a person needs to be honest with their own measurements. The garment measurements are under Click Here. I have read that some don't believe them to be accurate but I have never had an issue.

I also know my own body type. Although I can be the same height and weight as another, some clothing items won't fit the same. Some brands just won't work for some people while it works for others.

My advice is to get your measurements, follow the garment measurement chart AND read reviews.

Like @haddon9 stated, all businesses can have sizing issues that don't work well for you. It can be difficult to buy online but once you find the designers you like you should have no issues.

And as @Bhvbum pointed out, pay attention to the fabric content. That plays a big part on fit. If it has stretch or no stretch, etc.

I haven't had problems with sizing since I always check the actual garment measurements as others have said. I never order 2 sizes to try. I also make sure I know my current measurements. You can do something to increase your probability of getting the right size but that requires you are proactive about it. Even then, there could be a manufacturing error with any vendor.

All on line sellers need to address sizing issues.

In the case of Q, you have to listen closely to the babble and then catch the special sizing considerations. Such as: size up if you want a looser fit, size down from your B&M sizing, this is no Q sizing or the one that makes no sense to me is: Suzie Q is 5'6" and is a L.

I try to read the reviews mainly for sizing but often the remarks relate to the item arrived wrinkled or there was an unpleasant odor.

I have shopped with Q for over 25 years and have all but stopped buying clothing from Q.

I don't buy much anymore .... but I have lately noted the size issue on blouses. Medium is often too big - even with my wide shoulders. (Fortunately, I was able to shrink one from Renee's Attitudes line.)

Pants are always too long ... but it's easy to fix that.

On some measurement charts I should wear large, yet I meed small or medium now to fit. Many of the mediums are way too large. I do not know what goes on with them. That's why I quit buying clothes with them, too many exchanges. Sizing varies so drastically. I think QVC has such vanity sizing to start with. Back in the day, before 2000 when most clothing was USA , and a couple other countries the sizing was the same for every single designer. It was so easy, they were more true to size, slightly generous. But you could by a Rue sweater, or denim and co, all same size perfect. Then when all the vendors lost control of factory quality and sizing at factories over seas ...all clothing is like that.

Again we are talking about quality and how poorly it is made

When the fabrics are cheap and manufacturing skimps and cuts back

they're not giving full sizing because they're keeping costs diwn

Skimp on fabric

Skimp on sizing

Then washing will bring the item to shrink

For the price the Q is charging you can buy a high end brand and maintain your true

Sizing

If you have ever bought consistently from a high end brand and maintain your size

that will tell you they have not thinned out their sizes to accommodate manufacturing costs

i routinely buy only from a few brands and that's because I'm a one size w/o fail or adjustments

That I can trust these brands and none are of QVC

With mass produced clothing (all unless custom made or sewn at home) there is bound to be some difference due to how it is cut out -- from many layers probably.

I know I really like the joy spun pajamas from Wal-Mart and have many pairs.Recently I purchased a new pair for summer --tried it on--and thought wow I must have lost weight as the waistline seemed extremly roomy. I got out an old pair --same size--and the new one was about 1/2 -1 inch larger. My dream shattered.😒

I agree and with other posters and make good use of the measurements chart. I sometimes get a similar frock out of my closet and compare measurements. I find skimming thru reviews very helpful also.

There are some brands that just about always fit me accurately. D&Co. and SG petite pants always. It used to be true of Quacker Factory ,but the last few I purchased were like riding pants=too much fabric in the hips.

I've had sizing issues with QVC for some time now. I had it down for a while....Denim & Co I'd order my usual size and was fine, SG I sized down and KG I'd have to size up one size for tops ( I gave up on her bottoms). But this Spring/Summer I did order a lot of crops from D&C that were way off. Way too big and returned. I'm especially diappointed with the D&C french terry crops. It's changed into the acivewear/easycare catergories and the fit is awful (for me). I would email the social team telling them what I was returning for a head's up and would always tell them of my sizing problems. I kind felt I I was in the minority so I'm kinda glad to come across this and know it's not just me.
