Has anyone ordered from Bloom Chic

I keep seeing ads on FB and took the plunge. Their sizing and measurement seem to be a bit strange to me but wish me luck. I will try to remember to post once I receive the dress.

I'm curious, before purchasing did you read any reviews about this China based company?

I'm not a believer in ordering from any pop-up ads, especially from someplace like Facebook. Too many questionable sites out there.

@Etoile308 I just googled them and it says they are US based. I would never order from Temu or places like that

Etoile3088 I just goggled them and it says they are US based. I would never order from Temuu or places like that

Not all ads that come up on Facebook are scams. The ones that pop up in the corner I don't trust, but I have those hidden anyways. The ones that show up in the newsfeed, aka sponsored ads, are often legit. Still, I never click on the link in the ad. I'll go directly to the company's website. If I'm not familiar with the company, I'll do a little research.

I actually have those sponsored ads hidden too; however, the app I use sometimes gets broken because Facebook is continually changing their code specifically to override the apps that do that.

Yes, I have. Just for the heck of it, I ordered a Tshirt. It was just $11.40. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived Thursday. Its a very nice, soft knit T with short sleeves. Its summer weight, but i couldnt believe how soft it was. I tried it on before I washed it and it was big, ordered a size L. Washed it and tried it again and it hadnt shrunk any. Overall, I was happy with the purchase. Now FF to last week. I ordered 2 of the same knit tees. Both came to $24.00 but I received an email that shipment wouldbe delayed, as the company was tranferring all its inventory to a U.S. warehouse, and my order was now in a bulk shipment to the U.S. and we all know why..Anyway, I received an email on Friday from them saying my order would be delivered on or around the 23rd. So thats not to bad considering whats going on. I ordered one thing from Temu years ago and never again. Never bought anything from Shein but I have a friend that loves it. Im really not interested in buying from China etc, but I wanted to try because it all looks so cute. The Tees are nice, dont know about anything else though

This is my understanding of the company. They are registered in Hong Kong and per the About Us, the clothing is all from China.

In their terms of use they mention that your information can be optioned by a third party beyond their control. Typically speak for companies in China.

I see many cute shirts and blouses in Facebook sponsored ads. In reading the descriptions, I find most are either 100% poly or some kind of cotton/linen blend which means ironing. Some actually just say, "made of finest materials" and don't give fabric content. (No sale)

Nearly all are sent from Asia and take 2-3+ weeks to arrive. Returns would be a problem.

Sizing is wonky and who knows how accurate it is?

I've ordered a couple tee shirts which fit strangely because they're made to be unisex. Strange fabric. Waste of money

One day I tracked back 4 or 5 companies that were operating under different names out of Hong Kong. They all went back to the same headquarters in London.

There are 6 or 7 companies with different names selling Southwestern themed clothing which all have the same parent company. Even their feminine shirts are unisex with buttons on the wrong side, broad shoulder and super long sleeves.

I have read some of the reviews on some of those linen/cotton blends and the recipients say when they get them, they are 100% polyester so it's all what you expect. Even the good American vendors, once they went to China, don't sell quality clothing any longer. I no longer buy much from Eileen Fisher because of her poor quality and there was a time when she was my favorite.
