Bathing Suits

Is there a new trend in bathing suits? Usually, QVC is pretty conservative but I've seen promos for several suits where the model appears about to fall out of the top with most of her breasts exposed. Who do they think is buying these little skirted suits.....sex goddesses?

Perhaps another example of wearing items too small?

A suit too small isn't going to be pleasant wet or in the heat!, lol!!!

When I sold that brand at Dillards, they ran very small. I thought they might have corrected that issue! Guess not!

@Kachina624 like everything else, where the the water is seems to determine the suit. I know when I head to my condo pool, there are only a few bodies in tiny suits. Beautiful young bodies.

When I go out to walk along the Atlantic, those suits abound.

I don't try to compete in either place. I would lose if I did!

When QVC offers bathing suits they should honestly tell what if any bra support in the suit. Too often theer is no support with women who have larger breasts or who are older and need more support.

Don't they show the linings with cup structure and models? All the Q suits are meant for full figures

I like the old-fashioned, 40's or 50's retro style.

With enough coverage at the bottom front and buttom rear.

Easier to feel confident while swimming in a pool. Everything is 'covered'.

Last year, I purchased a Susan Graver tiered 2 piece swimsuit. I love it, it hides my bulges and it has shorts. I just looked and it is no longer offered but I like that it is 2 pieces, easy on and off. Really nice swimsuit.

It is that time of year but I haven't worn a swimsuit in years. I never learned to swim and my water encounters are mostly in a spa (hot tub) setting. That said, I loved high cut suits back in the day and even bought a fringed suede leather bikini (google Bo Derrick in one). I don't like large amounts of water and rarely go to the beach. Won't be shopping for a new suit this year.

I just bought a D&C suit (in case we take a drive to the beach). It's A634813 a romper and it looks ok with a coverup! LOL! It would look a whole lot better if I could lose 15 or so.

I have not worn a traditional swimsuit for years and when I do go to the beach I usually wear board shorts that are made for going into the water, a sports bra and a tee shirt....since I really don't go swimming.

I know how to swim and loved it when I was a kid but today it's not worth the hassle of messy hair and makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup but a few basics.

I have not noticed any of the more racey styled suits.

'For a change', and for comfortable coverage, I sort of like D&Co Tankini with Swim Short.

I would order the Black, for an overall slimming look.

Also, one can use the Tankini top with other fashion items. Maybe even the swim short worn separately with other swim tops, too.

@ROMARY Did you size up I am a 12 or a medium but I am afraid this runs small. 5 ft tall 125 to 130 carry my weight in my hips and thighs. Thank you

Amazon has a cute bathing suit with good coverage but doesn't look matronly

They start at size large but I usually size up two sizes in swimsuits.
