Up until last week I stuck to my goal of not buying any clothes/shoes/accessories this year.

My confession - I ordered 2 handbags...

Last week I ordered a Lug crossbody (F48054 - Acai Berry) to hopefully match back to Miz Mooz sandals I bought last year (A631749 - Fuchsia).

BTW, I have these sandals in all the colors except the aloe/green.

Anyway, the Fuchsia pair (pic below) I had been hoping that someday I would find a similar color handbag to match.

Lug came to the rescue...

I received the small Lug crossbody bag today and they match perfectly!

Here are a few pics...

The Miz Mooz Fuchsia sandals...although they look like a bright pink, they are really a berry color with a hint of lilac/purple which I LOVE! I have several tops/outfits that will pair back wonderfully.

This is the Lug Acai Berry crossbody and this image/color is EXACTLY the same color of the Miz Mooz sandals!

Here's a pic of them both together. Sorry about the lighting...kinda dim, but they do match perfectly.

And earlier today I ordered one more Lug crossbody in the Acai Berry for when I need to carry more (F47901)...

Glad I did...looks like it's on waitlist now...whew!

Add me to the "bad girl bench". I was doing so well and today received 5 tops I recently purchased.

Two were from Q from last week's free shipping weekend. I've had both on my wishlist and found them "As Is".

And 3 tops from J.Jill that were 70% off. I get an extra 5% with my JJ card. Only bad thing I had to pay for shipping.

And I'm waiting for one more jacket-y style top from Shop My Fair Lady that I got for 15% off.

But, in the meantime, I am handcuffing myself!

Lol .... eek! I always say that I have to stop buying stuff. Then my son gives me gift cards for Christmas to QVC, then gift cards for my February birthday to QVC, so I guess I HAVE to buy! 🤷‍♀️❤️

I felt "Winter Drab" this morning...and spent a couple hours in the "beauty" department at TJ Maxx.

Came home with a shopping bag full of things I really didn't need...(but I didn't spend "the family fortune")...

Oops !! add me to the list of new years broken resolutions because I ordered and received a baggelini handbag, black with gold colored hardware, Love it !! I also ordered and received a Kim Gravel top, a Lawrence Beautiful sweater just shipped today, Kim Gravel foundation TSV and Philosophy Fresh Cream, warm cashmere shower gel set ( Love that fragrance and it was only $29 for the set of one Large size and one small size shower gel) Has not shipped yet. Yep ! That's my confession !!

Very pretty colors! Good for you -- you deserve them! It's hard to stick to the no purchasing thing for a long period of time.

I don't really need anything but I went to Kohl's yesteray and they are having winter clearance or some type of sale and then an additional 50% off. Needless to say, I did purchase quite a few things. Well, I justified it by thinking how much money I saved and the weather has been so awful here -- so terribly cold, etc., and I have not been feeling too well, and I needed a pick me up. So, there --- those are my excuses!

I've been on a moratorium and not purchasing earrings. I look A LOT online. Etsy is my downfall. Now I'm saying that I'll wait until we get back from vacation next month to see if the ones I like are still there.

My most recent purchases are a travel backpack, earrings from India and two wallets from Australia.......waiting for everything to arrive.

My favorite shoe brand had the coolest fushia and bright orange sneakers. Luckily, (for my wallet's sake) they are sold out in my size. Booooo, but yaaaaaaay!

I am on a three month buying halt of anything

I went through my things and pulled out all season which wasn't much

but it was enough

And come the end of thr three months which will be Memorial Day I can find

wintet clearance should I need replacement

Im being intentional and desiring not to be this consumer but rather a user

practically, it makes such a difference

I also have stringent savings goal

I encourage the use of Pinterest to get outfit ideas with the clothing you have

Didn't make a resolution to buy less so I don't consider my purchases a confession; just a fact. 😉

I love to shop! I recently bought a pair of Cole Haan loafers and a Ralph Lauren genuine suede blazer at an upscale consignment store in my city. I also purchased 2 Talbots sweaters there. Love getting nice things at a good price.

The pix show a beautiful bag and shoes that match nicely- should pop nice when you wear- enjoy! I succumbed to 3 of the same handbags in different colors, my bags are failing. I bought a classic well-fitting navy pant to finally complete w/3 new blouses for spring. Couldn't resist 2 asis bargain tops on free s&h. Yesterday dragged down 5 toters spring/summer clothes to stop buying must shop my closet! Finding stuff I forgot LOL. I do absolutely need a new water aerobics swimsuit since I go 2-3 X a week it's falling apart, I'm hunting. I confess I enjoy the hunt LOL.

An Update:

For those interested...

One of the Lug bags in my OP I got just dropped in price from the QVC price $60 to $53.98. (F47901)

I just called CS for a QVC credit...

The other (smaller) crossbody bag I got I already got a QVC credit for that price drop last week - from the QVC price of $54 to $48.

@San Antonio Gal I happened to notice your review for the Miz Mooz sandals...so glad you got a pair and love them! I wound up getting a pair in all the colors...the aloe green was the last pair I received.

I have never done that with any other type of footwear, so that says a lot!

The current price is fab too...

What color did you order?
