More Garment Specifics

My wish for 2025 is that more QVC hosts give specific garment info, like fabric content, how the garment sizing runs, and care of the garment. I really appreciate when they share what size the models are wearing. I really don't need their suggestions on where a garment can be worn. We all know we can pretty much wear what we want anywhere now.

I just go online and read the specific information for the clothing.
I seldom watch an entire presentation of anything on QVC anymore. Too much useless chatter.

No on air time for garment specifics since they are being so so transparent talking abt Host's having Botox injections and breast implant surgeries.

@Harborgurl The specifics are only important to me if I have already decided I like or need what is being offered. I turn the channel or turn off the TV as soon as I lose interest.

I did that already today and I might not tune in again until I add a need to something QVC is likely to sell. The numbers could be a reason I don't buy - they would not encourage me to order something I haven't already said MAYBE to.

Don't think anyone will sit through a recital of measurements.

I do appreciate that QVC allows you click on actual garment stats. Most sites don't do this.

I just wish on the 'click here' measurements would have the length of the the actual sleeve from shoulder seam to wrist. I have seen a few on other sites that do this. It is almost impossible to measure your own middle of the neck to wrist, that is usually included on the charts.

I used to be a home seamstress , but now threading the needle is a challenge. I would like to know if I need to shorten the sleeves and if the purchase is worth the struggle to hem.

Agree! In addition to what size everyone is wearing, I would find it most helpful if they share their usual size so I could judge how the garment runs. I'd also like to see jackets open and closed which would helpme with sizing.

Hate their filler comments, e.g., how/where to wear something.

To my memory , many yrs ago QVC used to post the measurements in charts on air intermittently in between displaying the price and VP info.

Seems the times of actually attempting to describe an item they wish to sell has fallen by the wayside so they can, loosely using the word, entertain.

How's that working out for them?

I have now had multiple purchases of Susan Graver or Kim Gravel items that were Outrageously Too Large tops that the presentation did not even hint at, but the host went on and on about the luxurious feel or the "money" look.

Tops that were 2 sizes too large, not just one. And they still posted the usual sizing charts, and the models were in their usual sizes.

The best hint is when all the sizes smaller than your normal size are sold out. That means the top is Enormous.
