Waffle knit has become a staple in many of the Q fashion lines and I have purchased several styles for casual wear over the last few years. A mixed media tee by Kim Gravel was a TSV a couple of years ago and has been brought back every Fall season since in new colors. It regularly sells out...I own two despite the price.

When I read reviews of Q fashion items, it often seems that the worst criticism one can make is "it looks like something from Walmart". So here is one my favorite Fall, casual fashion buys from (yep)...Walmart 🙂 It's a 60/40 cotton/poly blend, very soft, about the weight of some of the Q's French terry tops, has lots of cute detailing, great colors... I bought one and immediately ordered a second. I think it fits true to brick and mortar store sizing...so a bit smaller than some Q lines. I'm an 8/10 on top and the Medium fits perfectly. I always wash before wearing and this laundered well as most cotton/poly blend items do. At $17.99 it's a well made steal.

I saw these in WM a few days ago but didn't buy. I'm not knocking your recommendation, just giving my view.

The neck opening is too small for my liking and I didn't want the hood. I couldn't decide if it was outerwear or meant for indoors.

I am petite and sleeves and length were very long. I liked the rust color.

It is certainly a "great value". Hope you enjoy wearing it.

We aren't allowed to post links to other retailers so your post won't last long. But there's much trash talk here that's pretty much meaningless. You can find some great fashion buys at Walmart and they are every bit as good as anything QVC sells. Old Navy too. I shop at both for my basics. I also got some great sweaters and sweatshirts from Shein last winter. I think it's all made in the same factories in China. It's the same stuff with a different tag seen in. Some sell it for $$$ others for $.

I don't normally buy clothes at Wal-Mart, but I do own a few pieces. I like a 60/40 blend and own a few pieces from various brands in that fabric combination.

I bought 2 of those last year at Walmart. Perfect for our winters. Still looks good.

Agree every style doesn't work for everyone. I consider myself kind of borderline Petite (5'3 1/2) and wear a Sm or Med. I almost always have to roll sleeves so I hear you but I don't for this one and it's low hip length on me. Thanks for chiming in so nicely!

I don't know how this particular item matches up with QVC, but I am not impressed with it. The sleeves are short and the bottom is vagabond. That being said, it shouldn't be more than $17.99.

@mildoo - I'm tall and can't wear anything with short arms. Maybe this top is better suited for petites or women with short arms.

I usually don't buy clothes at Walmart because I don't like going there. But, I like the Time and Tru winter items and make a trip there just to look that brand over and pick up some items. I bought several items last year and they held up well and washed with no problems (I do hang to dry). Will definitely check out the waffle knit tops.

The picture I posted of the model wearing the rust-colored top is 5'10". That's what is posted on WM's website under the description. Most women are not that tall. Also, the style is made with unfinished seaming. That's a style people wear these days and it's intentionally made to look worn.
