Good morning....It s HOT!! We have a joint birthday party for two great grand kids later today, I sure hope if cools off by 5:00, but not holding my breath.

Since I have a long weekend I am hoping to get flowers dumped and a few things cut back in the yard, everything looks bad because of the prolonged heat in my area.

Thinking about fashion while watching Leah in AM Style!

I like the look of the button-front Joan Rivers shirt/cardigan. I much prefer this style to the pullover styles.

But I just wish it wasn't a high-low hem. The back goes down too far.

Yes, I agree about the back going down too far on the JR shirt-cardigan!
We have had very high heat days here in Pittsburgh also. The Pittsburgh schools had 1/2 days yesterday because the temps would be in the 90s and no a/c.
Humans cannot endure these high temps any more, imo.

Later today there is a 🏈 game that DGS is participating in... I am going to try to go.

My book club met for dinner last night and it was fun!

I ate their cheese won tons and fried rice. Yum

The book we reviewed was "Do you want to know a Secret?" By Freida McFadden. So good I couldn't put it down!

I'm not sure what kind of weekend this is gonna be around here. My mom's physical therapy office called yesterday morning to cancel her appointment and let her know several therapists are out due to Covid. We're keeping our fingers crossed BIG TIME!

I do have a prescription of the medication they give for it put away. I didn't take it whenever I had it last time. At least if mom or dad get sick, we'll have it.

Other than this, I've been shopping on them waayyyy too much these past couple weeks during Fashion Days lol.😃❤️

So glad that you have some of that COVID medication on hand in order to get a prompt start just in case.

Wow, I have not heard a bunch about COVID cases around me and hope not to!

Last time I went to the health pavillion near me I wasn't required to wear a mask, which surprised me!

During this extreme heat...I have been mostly staying inside!

Last night, it rained like crazy!

Good morning all!

Cloudy here today in my area. I was checking out Leah this morning. I like that twofer, I own two from Wayne Scott Lukas waaay back when he was on HSN and they still look great. Twofers are so easy looks polished and comfortable.

I brought that bag with all the compartments in silver gray the black sold out while I was still thinking about it. I can see many uses for me with this bag and it's a nice size too.

Whenenever I saw my primary care physician just before my surgery, she told me they were seeing a huge uptake in patients testing positive. She told me to avoid crowds at all costs and immediately got me a mask.

She treats me for my autoimmune disease too, so maybe she's just a little overprotective with me I thought. It bothered me when they called mom yesterday from a total separate facility.

I really hope no one here gets it.❤️❤️❤️

I received my first pair of DRIFTWOOD Embroidered Corduroy pants. I LOVE ❤️ them! Happy the length is 32, even though a 33 in my favorite lol. I can live with it.

Did you just hear Amal (Anybody) describe her worst job ever?

LOL! Although not really funny, she made it so. I enjoy her!
She described it... conducting research with a 10 page survey ...when a person asked how much longer while taking it, and there were many pages left (it was loooong) she had to convince them to stay with her on the phone!

I want to say about the Anybody joggers...

Bought them when they first came out...finally threw them away after three years not because they were worn out but because I was just tired of them!

@Caaareful Shopper , I kind of like it but have had bad experiences with these types before. The "shirt" part was always an inferior material and would never sit right, curling up at the edges and making the look suffer. I do think the back dip is too low.

It seems to me that the buying public (for fashions) is hungry for uniqueness.
Interesting colors and styles are seemingly "gobbled up"!
You got the interesting color and style, imo!

Good morning, y'all. Haven't seen anything I needed yet. Since prices are so high, an item really has to call out to me before I'd consider purchasing. Our weather was horrible hot & humid this past week but yesterday was a little bearable so hoping to do some yardwork today. I've got so many trees on my property that I can no longer see the sky through the branches. I'm getting them trimmed soon but, in the meantime, they're dropping lots of branches that I want to clean up. It's snake season here so I don't need anyplace for them to hide.

Hard to wrap my brain around the fact that it's September already tomorrow! Nothing planned for the Labor Day weekend. I usually get together with family and have done so for the past 20+ years. This year, everyone's going in different directions so it will be a quiet weekend. Guess I'll have to do some "labor". Enjoy the weekend, y'all!

Thank you. I really had a hard time deciding. I do love them, but I honestly wish the embroidery was done completely tonal. Then, I could wear it all fall and winter with any color top. But, I do really like them.❤️. I'll probably wear with a black or ivory top.

Need bottoms and so why would I be purchasing tops? LOL
