Fashion Favorites 8/11/24...

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

#17 LOVE the back detail...put sleeves on the blouse (to please me me me! 😬) and the whole outfit is perfect...favorite

#18 This color would wash me out, but so comfy cozy looking...wouldn't hesitate to run a quick errand either

Numbers: 1 Light blue with white

4: Off white flare skirt

7: My kind of dress

8: A few days ago, in my attic, I ran across my orange hat similar to this one. It looks brand new! Covered with plastic wrap.

10: Blue with green !!

13: Wear it as a vest. Nice pants.

15: Covered up!

17: Forgot what it is, but I liked it.

18: Classic comfort.

So many of the sandals I could not walk in. My feet hurt looking just looking at them. But I am sure I would have rocked them when I was in my 30's.

#1 love that color of blue. It's a perfect outfit for the casual town where we have a family beach house. I would also wear the sweater with my faded CK jeans (circa 1995).

#11 look like my favorite faded CK jeans. See above. 😆

#13 love the red top. I would wear everything but the sandals.

# 16 (pushing @MacDuFF out of the way) I want that bag and will not be thwarted. 😏 (does a google search) Okay, maybe at a retail of $2200, I can be thwarted.

#18 I have a jogger outfit very similar in heather gray. Texture is ribbed and I get a lot of wear out of it, fall thru spring. Has held up well.

Hope your summer has gone well. Been a bit hectic for me...but no complaining. I enjoy your threads, even if I don't always post.

I think numbers 14 and 15 tops are lovely. I also admire the white dress, so pretty and the number 11 sweater is a favorite, the style and colors. All in all another fun fashion show!!!!

#13 love the brick red shirt (wish it had sleeves) and pants (yes, needing to be hemmed). I would swap out the handbag and wear shoes instead of sandals.

Love the colorful shirt in #14 and the white pants. Not loving the sandals or bag.

#17 with the black pants and white shirt is so pretty and fresh. Agree the shirt needs sleeves but love the black croco bag.

I love the #7 dress, so pretty and I've ever seen smocking with that style bodice too. I would only change the color for me if I wore it. Bet it's $$$

#11 sweater is so cute. I also like the simple brown t shirt with jeans and that belt outfit. Could wear #11 sweater over it too. I would have to lose 10 pounds (or more) to tuck the T-shirt in.

I like fantasy beach life outfit and I have scratch ticket win fantasy beach life too. Another fantasy that won't come true....

Ok now I like the front of the dress but not the back! I would have loved it without the back all open.

And somehow I'm surprised that it was designed this way.

My favorites this week are:

#1-I love the beachy vibe of this outfit and it certainly can be worn off the beach, too.

#8-That is a beautiful wine colored ensemble and extra points for the pattern on the blouse.
#14-I love ALL of it from head to toe and the bag, too!!

My favorites are #11 and #17 (love that bag too!!!!!). I also really like handbag of #16 and the jeans of #5.

My favorites...

#1 I love the beach! Her outfit looks very comfortable and appropriate for a cool beach day.

#2 I would like this more if the jeans were longer. Love the striped cardigan! I could never wear those high wedges without a backstrap. My heel would slip off, and I'd injure myself.

#4 Very nice and classic look, but I never tie my shirts. I haven't worn a full skirt in many years, but I might try one again. I don't like the square toe shoes.

#5 I would also snip the strings on the jeans, but I would change the sandals for loafers.

#10 I also like this color combination. Don't care for the scarf, and I'd prefer a bootcut jean that comes down over the boot shaft.

#11 I like stripes, and this is a different looking striped sweater. I wear ballet flats with my jeans sometimes, but these jeans are too long for her flats IMO.

#16 I like this bag too, but I doubt I'd carry it. I carry small crossbody bags mostly now.

You always post the best outfits! It's really hard to pick which I like best. I guess I'd have to choose 5, 7, 11, 14, and 17.

I didn't realize your "distaste" for feet being shown. LOL So funny, because I like sandals where the more foot showing the better.

#1 beach outfit is beautiful. I would only change the crew neck. Never buy. The slacks are beautiful.

#4 is a great outfit. While I never wear skirts or button up, collared shirts, it is a nice look.

#5 I can't see the length of these jeans, but I like the look of them. I love the belt and the shoes. The top, not so much.

#6 The whole look, top print, pant length, and shoes screams old lady to me. Gee, I guess I could fall into that category at 71, but I can't see me wearing this anyday soon.

#9 Canadian thrifter looks like she walked into a thrift store where they said,"Stuff a bag full as fast as you can for $1......with your eyes closed."

And then she went home and got dressed.

#14 This is a look similar to something I would wear.

As always, I enjoyed looking at these outfits. It is a fun diversion from all the world kr@p going on.

Count me in for thr race to grab the bag in #16. Not to be too picky, but I would prefer black and gray tones, But no problem-- I will take whatever color combo!

Love the soft blue on white pants. Very pretty.
I like each piece individually and the overall together look.
A little bit more than I want to wear.
Still my favorite, blue on white.
I like the sweater and sandals on the model. She is beautiful but I would have worn that with black jeans.
I love #6. I wish I could wear that and look like that.
I might have loved that as a teen or in my 20s, but that time has long gone.
I love the edginess of the orange and burgandy.
I like the blazer. Beyond the blazer, I'm not in with it.
I like the colors. Blue cancels green and it is a great combination.
Very cute grocery store and casual shopping.
It's okay, just not for me.
I love the top, the handbag, the shoes and the pants save the color. I would have preferred black pants with a touch of red or nothing.
Minus the fringe on the pants, one of my fav's.
Cute as can be.
I like the handbag. I hope you can find one.
I love everything about it but I could not wear it sleeveless, but it's goregeous on the model.
That's really cute in the picture and she wears it well but it looks like it would grow the longer you wore it.
