Is there a name for this fabric and the pattern that exists in it? Or maybe it's a one of a kind fabric created to have this print within it.

It is a Dior gown made of moiré fabric. It had a removable train that she removed when it got too wet and heavy in the rain.

Moiré fabric is characterized by its wavy pattern. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri introduced several designs featuring the silk textile as part of Dior's spring 2024 couture collection, which debuted in January.

I'm not a fan of Adele's dress; looks a little too matronly to my eyes. She's a beautiful woman, however, and super talented.

Adele's gown is lovely. I like the color, style and fabric.

The Dior red silk suit in the other photo is also pretty.

I didn't see your response and I answered. Sorry. You were here long before me. It is beautiful. My mother had a baby blue moire dress, big skirt with a navy blue velvet collar and she wore a navy blue cape with it. She was so beautiful in it. She had lovely clothes. She was a beautiful woman. My daughter looks like her. I look like some other generation. LOL

I'm not a fan of the fabric. I don't care for the wavy looking textile. She looks great in the dress, though, and it shows off her shape very nicely.

Respectfully, I'll take "matronly" over that Street-Walker look that many celebrities choose any day - I think she is positively stunning in that dress. ♥
