Good morning, sisters! Nothing on my agenda today. We're still hot and very humid here so can only go out in the mornings. I'll be taking it easy today and hope nothing will tempt me, trying to curtail my shopping right now. I'll start initial preparations for a possible Tropical Storm Debby visit.

Getting ready to do some work on my home, asked for suggestions on where to look for exterior paint color ideas here on the forum and will probably spend some time following some of the great options I got there.

Good Morning, Fashioinistas. We had outdoor plans today w/ the kids and heavy rain...again!!! I'm getting so tired of this summer weather.

Still a bit angry that the Nic+Zoe sweater I loved was a OTO and I don't sit in front of QVC 24/7. ....A 661794. Yes, OTO price of $129.98 + shipping and may have really considered getting the grey or black, but today it's $142.98 (+shipping) and the nerve to put "sale price" in red over that price!!! Really? The OTO was the sale price, no? That's dishonest.

Finished w/ my rant and just affirms why I don't purchase here...even if it's something I love.

The Blake Lively movie IT ENDS WITH US (based on the book by Colleen Hoover) comes to theatres this week. We purchased advanced tickets to see it Sat. around noon. Our theatre has comfy seats and delicious FOOD. We always go around lunch time if possible. My healthy diet goes out the window and I order sliders w/ cheese and sweet potato fries that come with a honey concoction for dipping. Then during the movie....popcorn and diet coke. I need to bring a foot sool or my feet don't reach the floor...no laughing, please.

So, today a long mall walk and then more stuffing un-needed towels and linens into bags for the animal shelter and clothing piled up in the corners for the garage sales. My studio is the area where all is being saved for the sales or donation and I moved my studio downstairs temporarily. I never thought in a million years we had this much stuff!!!

Have a great weekend...safe from rain, flooding, drought and fires....Crazy weather!!

Good morning friends. Yes, the humidity in the northeast is brutal! OMG, can't wait until it goes down a bit. In RI, heat index is 102 with 88% humidity..........just gross. We have plans today with an outside lunch, I hope the ocean will give us some breezes today! Our good friends that we'll be with have a nice pool at their house so the plan is to go jump in after lunch. I think I actually would prefer my AC today though.

No shopping today but I will watch this morning just to enjoy the fashions

Good morning, we had some rain yesterday and the air is better this morning. windows are open!!!

DH and I are going to a furniture store about 40 minutes away. We am not ready to buy but we are looking for family room furniture, I need a couch and side chair. At another store there were only 2 sofas that were the length we needed (most were to long).

I had a busy work week, so trying not to do much today.

I took a look on line at what clothing items were shown overnight, so far nothing is calling my name, and it's been to hot to think about long denim and sweaters.

Don't know where Shanus lives but in Arizona several movie theaters have food and alcoholic drinks available while you watch a movie.

@Mom2Dogs We have several "food service theatres" in our area. They've been here since before the pandemic....years before and of course were closed. You place your order from your seat by phone and the usher brings it to you. They've changed the serving policy to order and be served BEFORE the movie begins. Shorties like me couldn't see the screen w/ the food being brought during the movie.

Speaking of delicious food...

DD and I met for lunch yesterday and speaking of delicious!

We started with avocado fries

Nexy, we enjoyed a gluten-free burrito...made with a rice-based wrap filled with black beans including a Serrano pepper sauce. OUTSTANDING!

This place is a Cafe that is owned and run by a chef and is totally free of gluten!

Our week was also very rainy and the GKs were off at camp! It has ern great knowing they were busy being entertained even though a few storms were strong.

This morning I went back to sleep...oh my goodness!

@LTT1 My DD has celiac, so we're always so careful and check restaurants and menus ahead when we're together. While she visits, she's safer eating home and purchases her foods and we cook together. it's amazing what foods set her off..soy sauce and other condiments....not just pasta and breads.

@Shanus Same here in DC metro. We've had food service theaters for at least 10 years in my area. Way before the pandemic.

Hot and rainy here again too. Thankfully, the forecast for the next week is currently sunny skies...but I'm not holding my breath lol.

Has anyone ordered the TSV or denim jacket with ruffle being offered? I'm not sure if I'd wear this kind of top or not.❤️

I live in a tiny town and our theatre serves food and drinks now as well. Everything inside got upgraded. I especially love the big recliner seats!😃❤️

Imagine finding a place with an actual CHEF who "designs" delicious eats that specify exact allergens in what he offers?

It is heaven...

and everything is gf!

My burrito yesterday had cheese in it which looks like American cheese but isn't...it is df (dairy free) cheese!

Before my DD arrived, I ate a tiny square chocolate-cream cheese brownie...to die for!

Every time DD and I eat there, we learn new ingredients!
