Brand ambassadors in studio...PLEASE let them speak!

I have noticed many QVC hosts completely dominate the conversation when there are brand ambassadors on set at the Q. It doesn't make sense for some of these people to fly across the country (California) when they might get one complete sentence in about the product before getting verbally steamrolled. Why do they do this? And often they interrupt just to repeat something they already said three times.

@Senny22. A frequent complaint, this is beyond the control of us customers and is apparently encouraged by QVC management.

Drrives me buggy too..........David really takes over w/vendor standing .....and waiting. Yes, some vendors are new; but watch the Lock-n-lock presentations...or other repeaters.

So true and a complaint that has been on these forums for a long ttime. There are some hosts who are worse than others. Obviously this is the format the Q wants and pushes for, it is all about selling the product. It doesn't matter how rude or obnoxious, interrupting and talking over the vendors is the acceptable Q way or change would have been made.

My guess and if I were a betting woman, would be that their production people/directors, etc., are whispering in their ear to get on with it and they have to interject. I don't think, if I were a host, I would want to do that, but I don't think they have a choice. QVC likes Jennifer Coffey because she just ramrods over the vendor people, goes on and doesn't give the other fellow a chance. It's her show and she runs it the way QVC likes it. She sells a lot that way, as well.

Agree, the interruptions are very annoying however I think the QVC hosts are constantly getting audio feedback from the producer telling them to stress how many items have been sold, how many left, going fast, only order of the year, use auto delivery, customers buying multiples, buying more than one color, sell sell sell, etc. Not much the brand ambassadors can do.

other than computers and some beauty brands the brand reps could be replaced and let the hosts do the job

yesterday Leah talked about what she was selling, then brought in the rep, such a waste of time

Most hosts let the Brand Ambassadors do their job. One or two interrupt constantly. I don't think that will change any time soon.

Jane is the worst. I can't even watch her she's so obnoxious. Leah is a gem. She lets the OAPs speak and present their product and she knows exactly when to interject so that it seems like a normal, natural conversation.

Jane Treacy and Rachel Boesing are the worst..

There are a frew more that do this as well, but those 2 mentioned are the worst in my opinion. I am not saying they are bad hosts, but they have the tendency to talk over the vendors and you end up feeling bad for the poor vendors just standing there waiting to speak.

I saw this once on Saturday Morning Q with the sweet Skechers Rep Angela, she was with both Alberti and Kiersten, and she couldn't get a word in edgewise, she kept trying though....lol.....

I tried to watch Susan Graver last night with Sandra Bennett hosting. Between the two of them constantly interrupting each other it was almost unwatchable. Same with Sandra and Isaac
