Just ordered my 1st pair of Miz Mooz shoes...

I decided to finally order the Ruched Sandals - Flaire in the brandy.

I've had these in my wishlist for quite awhile and when I noticed they were also availible with FREE S&H I ordered.

Good Luck. Sizing was off one size & piece of leather cut my foot. Will not order this brand again.

The star rating is 4.2...(really pretty good rating for any shoes/boots/sandals). If I get a defective pair I'll just return for a replacement. I really like the style of these sandals.

What color/size did you order?

I have many pairs of Miz Mooz sandles and boots and find them very comfortable and stylish, and love the color offerings. Brandy is a nice color that goes with everything. I only wear leather footwear and the leather on Miz Mooz is outstanding. Mine have fit true to size. This line quite often has free shipping on many of their offerings. Hope you love your new sandles.

OP: those are very nice, but i don't care for the tooling, i would rather have plain leather. i have a few Miz Mooz and like them a lot!! you can wear those Spring to Fall b/c of all the foot coverage.

i have only returned one pair to Miz Mooz b/c they did not look good on me (sandals)

they are pretty good quality - leather is so soft. slim to none arch support. but for me its ok b/c i don't wear them all day long. just going out for dinner, appointments, family functions etc... i like to be in a sneaker for most of the day - too busy to be in a sandal.

@Susan Louise These are so pretty and a great price. I do have several pairs of sandals & boots from MIZ Mooz and never had any issues with sizing. I find them to be very comfortable. I wore a pair walking in Italy last fall and I had no issues with them hurting at all. Enjoy!

I bought one pair of Mz Mooz shoes that were very similar to the pair shown in the brandy color. They looked amazing and the leather was butter soft.

They are great to look at, but I can't wear them. The soles are too thin with no cushioning. I could feel pebbles right through the soles when I walked.

They also rubbed my toes into blisters. I should have returned them, but I wanted to wear them so much.

Well, they never got better and they now sit in a box in the closet.

My suggestion, I hope they fit well and are comfortable, if they are not, return them ASAP. They do not break-in and get better with wear.

I hope you had better luck than I did. I loved the leather and the style but.....I thought the sandal ran a bit narrow and short. The footbed was "just" okay.

I've wanted to try this brand for a long time myself. However, I've been hesitant because I have high arches and really need good support. Please let us know how they fit once you receive them.

@Biftu Thanks for sharing...especially that you have several Miz Mooz footwear. Since this is my 1st pair, the added info is good to know. I can't wait to receive them.

I have a couple of pairs of the Miz Mooz Cornwall sandals in brandy and black. I liked them so much when I first got them that I went back for another color. I'd get another pair if they had my size - so comfy and the leather is really soft. There was no breaking in period. I wear them to work and sometimes have them on for 12 hours or more -- all day. I've gotten lots of compliments on them too. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

I love Miz Mooz shoes, in fact I am wearing the style Dipper right now with my slacks. I wore them to work. I have many styles, but I really like the Dipper style. I have a black and blue pair. They are comfortable. I do not have an uncomfortable pair of Miz Mooz shoes. The leather is soft. I like that they cover my foot yet are still a sandal. As I age, I notice that I like that coverage.

@Susan Louise I hope you love them! I have bought many pairs of Miz Mooz and only a couple have not worked out.

The shoes are very high quality.

@Carmie @Roni18 I have noticed some of the newer styles have rubber soles. You can see these new soles in the pair @1tuffcookie posted. The other styles have been plenty comfortable for me, but the rubber bottoms are new, so may be worth trying in a style you like.

@cheriere I normally wear shoes with better arch support. Fan of Revitalign/Spenco or the old Vionics. (I require wide shoes,) I even replace insoles in some shoes with better arch support. But the Miz Mooz work fine for me as is. The styles I have purchased are not amenable to adding an insole because they are sandals, or with boots, I do not have room for added or replaced insoles. I have also purchased stick on arch supports for some shoes, but sometimes they are hard to keep stuck.

@NYCLatinaMe I noticed that the newer shoes and some of the boots have padded insoles. This, I am sure is a big improvement.

The leather uppers are so soft and beautiful and I like the styles.

I was so disappointed mine hurt my feet too much to wear.

Maybe I'll give them another chance when I need new shoes.

@bells4me I have one pair. One shoe feels great but the other cut into the top of my foot horribly and took a long time to heal. I should have returned them. I haven't wanted to risk wearing them again. I won't try again with this brand. I had tried once before and the shoes were defective so I sent them back.
