World's First 3D Printed Wedding Dress

NY Post has an article about it online, if anyone is interested. It's by Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen. The bride actually had a 3D scan of her body to ensure a perfect fit.

The bride is a tax lawyer, that's obviously how she could afford such a dress.

I like the intricacies, even tho it kinda does look like spaghetti. I wonder what it could look like in other patterns.

IMO the bodice neck area and the veil looks like small animal bones and small antlers. The rest of the dress is very pretty.

I like the design, but would look better without the train. I never understood the reason for a train on a bridal gown; I like gowns much better without something dragging behind.

Guess I'm in the minority, but at first glance I thought, what is all the extra stuff. Looks like cheap plastic, so strange.

Just my opinion, truly awful. If the cheap plastic parts were removed, it would be a nice dress.

It's funny how designers are "influenced" by one another. I would have guessed this was a House of Alexander McQueen or a John Galiano (for Maison Margiela). The intricacies are unique. She looks like one of the fae.

Stunning dress, but too much going on around the neck. I think the train integrates beautifully with the rest of the gown.
