Linea jacket arrived!

I was so surprsied to see the Q bags with my Linea linen jackets on my porch today. That was some fast shipping. I didn 't pay for expedited shipping either,although I don 't live far from the Q. First issue....the jackets came packaged in those horrid bags,so needless to say,they are a wrinkled mess. Steaming is the first order of business. What is wrong with shipping on a hanger in a box!! Jackets themselves are quite lovely,once you get past the extreme rumples. I ordered my regular size and the fit/tailoring is fine. The black jacket,for some reason, is a tad tighter than the twig. Nice to have those removable shoulder pads for choice of look. The twig seems to be darker than it appeared on air,but I'm ok with that. I am blonde,so I was worried about getting lost in the twig color,but it's fine. Black is exactly what I expected. Anyone else receive their linen items?

2zbeach, would you happen to have anything in Louis' taupe color? I had ordered the twig tank to go under the twig linen jacket. That's one of the items that shows backordered (although it is readily available online right now - go figure). Anyway, I already own a taupe tank (the one that was offered at the same time the "boyfriend" cardigan was presented. I'm wondering if the taupe tank would work under that twig linen jacket. If so, I'll cancel my backorder for the twig tank.

I don 't have any of Louis's taupe items,so I'm not going to be much help on that account. Perhaps someone else can offer some info. Personally,I'd probably stick to the twig tank because in my mind's eye,taupe and twig are a few shades apart. Anyone out there to help?

Mine just shipped today too and that means another four days. I ordered the black/white. I am intrigued by the color and I am excited to receive this jacket. I really wish I could have ordered both black AND twig. If I am correct about this jacket, it will serve me well for years during the hot weather when I need to look "put together." I also bought a WK black tank to go with it.

Isn't Linea "fashion?" Shouldn't we talk about it here even though it has it's own thread? Louis just had to great shows, that makes it Q fashion and the topic belongs here too.

Yes, it is 'fashion' but some people strictly just hang out at the Linea forum, the OP might get more looks at her question if she posts it there.
