Denim & Co. first purchase!

I recently purchased D&C A-593005 Wide Leg Beach Pant in the color Navy Shibori. I saw them quite awhile back but that color was sold out. I saw the reviews & some women complained about the wastband in their size being to snug among other things & some liked them. So I called CS before ordering. I have other beach pants but bought them from Chico's which I tried on with no problems.

On the QVC sizing chart for D &C they give 2 sizes for each indivisual size. When I talked to CS she told me she saw only one size for each size for those particular pants. She said QVC chart sizing did not show up at all for those pants. She gave me the exact measurement for the beach pants & glad I call. Just thought I would pass it along.

@Kabella I have those pants in that color and love them! I happen to really love blue shibori!

They are very comfortable and fit great. I have worn them when it's hot out and because they are lightweight and flowy they are comfortable to wear in the heat & humidity.

As for the two sizes, do you mean the general sizing chart vs. the exact measurements for that item?

I have those Navy Shibori pants. I bought them for a cruise and stupid me packed the pants but forgot to pack the shirt. I haven't worn the outfit yet but I will next month on my next vacation. I've tried them on and they're very comfortable.

@haddon9 Yes, on the general sizing that shows on Q sizing verses the exact measurements I got from CS. Did you go with your regular size or size up? I was going to get the XS but got the S Glad you like them & I also liked the shibori the best. Enjoy! I am hoping that fit me well, will arrive by April 10th.

@Kabella Yes I went with my regular size. For Denim & Co. pants I wear a petite S and it fits well. However I always look at the exact size chart just to be sure. Once in a while measurements seem off to me.

So sorry, I am really confused about what you are talking about seeing 2 sizes?

I don't think I have ever seen 2 sizes listed?

I go to the click here measurements online and they list everything already for us.

@Kabella. You can find all of the actual garment measurements for every item, at the end of the text describing it where you're instructed to "click here". I ckeck them on every single of the many items I order. Rarely have to return anything.

Strangely, the hosts never mention these measurement but I did hear Angel with Quacker Factory talk about them recently.

It's not a "matchy" top/same shibori and material. The top I got for it is a D&C v neck navy flutter sleeve top. When of the models was wearing it with the navy shibiro pants and I thought it looked good together.

For example, I've noticed between the Perfect Jersey and the Heavenly Jersey I wear 2 different sizes. One has more give than the other. It all depends on the fabric with this brand.

@ScrapHappy Thankyou. I looked up that top & like it & think it would look great with those pants! I have quite a few navy & some light blue tops. Most of my tops are blues & whites. Some prints but not many.

@Kachina624 You can tell I don't order many clothes from the Q lol. I prefer buying in-store as I am able to do. I was referring by the size guide which has worked for me with some purchases in the past but the reviews were all over the place so I called CS. I thought the Click Here would be the same but thankyou for making it easier for me. Those Pants are a 5* here!

@RespectLife Thankyou, what I mean't by 2 sizes is that if you click on the size guide instead of it being one # there are 2 which means lets say I am between a 2-4 or 4-6 & so on. As you can tell I buy & try on mostly in-store.

The Blue Shibori Beach Pants arrived yesterday. They were a perfect fit. Love Them.

I gave the wrong item # which was the petite. I am a Regular length. I recieved the XS instead of what I ordered which was the S. even tho I talked to CS about sizing hmm... Anyways, luckily they fit great. was very pleased with the comfort of the wastband..
