Welp. I’m addicted to Denim &Co beach pants lol

I now have five pairs, having just received two pairs that were a recent tsv. These things are so nice looking and comfortable, breezy, in hot weather, they are all I want to wear. I wear the prints with solid cotton tees. Minimal jewelry.The solids with mostly printed tops. Not to mention how well the pants launder. Footwear is flip flops. (Florida life) I'm remembering when my son was around 8 years old, he got on this kick where he would only wear sweatpants. For months. I think I'm about to do that with beach pants 😁

@smoochy I share your enthusiasm for the D&C TSV beach pants. I bought my first ones last year. They are all I am wearing at home. The petites are a tad bit shorter than I would normally wear my pants, but they are perfect with my houseshoes. The waistband stays flat and does not gouge into my waist. I am spoiled to their overall comfort.

I have 2 pair, but never wear them outside the house. BECAUSE, I can't find a top that looks right, to me. What style do you wear and what length of top? I will so appreciate any suggetions from anyone! Thank you----oh, I just turned 72 if that makes a difference.

I'm your age. For a while I struggled with what tops to wear. Then I decided to go with plain short sleeved Pima cotton tees from lands end. Simple and unfussy. The fabric is soft, siimilar to the pants. I have them in several colors. They are high hip length, not too short and not tunics. Also relaxed fit lands end polo shirts. I might wear a tank top when then temps hit the nineties. Also a tunic length tank or sleeveless top would work, in a soft fabric and relaxed style.

YES the waistband. It is perfection. You just can't put a price on comfort. I recently bought a pair of crop pants from Blair, on a poster's suggestion. They have a deceptively wide waist that looked so comfortable in the photos. But nooo. They cheaped out and only put a narrow strip, about 1/4" of elastic in the top of the waistband. Oh man it's like wearing a rubber band around my middle. I feel like my voice comes out squeaky when I wear those pants. Haha. To the donation pile!

Could you all share with me on the sizing?...Were you able to go with your regular size as with usual pants, such as Jeans...I find that with some lounging pants or beach pants that they tend to run larger at times, so I could use your help with these particular Beach Pants.

Happy to help. This brand is generously cut. I wear a Medium Petite (5'4", short legs) In jeans and more fitted styles I'm between a 12 and 14. Weight is carried around my middle. Go with the actual garment measurements that are listed- they are accurate.

I have several D & C beach pants, in solid colors and prints. This is all I wear to work, all year long. You can dress them up or down. Any top or shoes will go with them and they are so comfortable. Love them

yes medium fits me perfectly. I weigh 149 lbs. nothing is tight. There's room to spare.

I'm a convert, too! I am pear-shaped and usually order one size larger in slim pants/jeans than I do for tops. Well, I ordered my usual QVC pant size in the D & C TSV beach pants and had to exchange them for one size smaller, the waist was way too big in my usual size. So, dang, the Ikat pattern is sold out in my size.

Same situation with the Susan Graver beach pants that match her tankini. I ordered one size down from my usual QVC slim pant/jean size and the fit is perfect. Her beach pants look adorable when worn with her matching tankini. Since her pants have side slits on both sides, you can tie them at the ankle on both sides for a genie pant look.

Same situation with the Beautiful by Lawrence Zarian wide leg pants. I ordered one size down on both the pants and the coordinating peasant blouse and the fit is perfect. This set is really a stunning outfit. I'm tempted to buy it in another color.

So, lesson learned, I now really scrutinize the garment measurements before ordering wide leg pull-on pants.

They are incredibly comfortable and they retain their color and softness forever. I buy a couple of pairs every year. Three last year. I'm so happy that the XL ones I bought in 2023 fit even though I'm a L now. They are great for those super hot, might days when I don't want anything touching my skin. White tee, strappy sandals and I'm done.
