Am I the only one who removes tassels from Belle tops?

Ever since the 1st Belle top I got with tassels and washed it, the tassels got all twisted into a mess...oy.

So I had removed them all and actually like the look so much better. I just tie a half knot at the end of each strand (what the tassel hung from)...voila!

Example - I have 3 of A398151 (green, pink & orange)

Great tops...even better tassel-less.

I heard someone say that if you wrap the tassels with foil before laundering, the foil will help prevent the tassels from getting ruined. I think it was stylist Sam Saboura say that when he was with One World fashions at ShopHQ.

I would run for the scissors to cut those things off...and on all the

other tops. Hate that style.

items with tassels i either dry clean OR i put into a mesh laundry bag for washing on gentle.

I don't buy tops with tassels for that very reason

No, I didn't remove them ~ I sent it back. I can't afford to pay that much money for a blouse that needs "fixin'".

@Spacrazy I see your point, but I REALLY love the tops. It took mere seconds to take them off.

As for the price of the tops, I got 2 of them for under $18 each with FREE S&H through Ebay and 1 of them 'As Is' for $31.66

I have one Gravel top with tassels. I have not had any issues with laundering.

I never buy tassel tops because of this too. They NEVER wash well no matter what I do. They always end up swelling up, fuzzing out and shortening in length. It ends up looking like a cheap mess!
