So, I tune into Courtney's new show. She is showing a pair of NYDJ jeans. Does colors 2 times, babbles about colors, shows size chart AND NEVER MENTIONS THE INSEAM IS 32"!
WHY QVC?

Now she is wearing a flat shoe & she looks like I did when I ordered a NYDJ TSV that was supposed to be a petite length except it wasn't marked petite & the inseam was 32". They charged me for return shipping even though my order said petite & they weren't!

Because for some reason qvc and the hosts think we would rather be entertained than actually giving the information to us on the product we are buying. I guess all the returns are not a clue.

On ShopLC yesterday the host measured some joggers from the crotch to the waist and then turned to the camera and announced that the inseam was 14 inches.

No correction.

flipped the channel and saw presentation of that yellow & white diamond ring . Waited to see if they showed the under gallery of the ring which Courtney did for a quick second. For all that bragging Michele L does as a brand ambassador abt the Affinity diamonds and quality of the pieces she just quickly puts on the ring and does not show us the undergallery on a ring they are selling for $1,639 .

Found you have to really check any and all brands of pants they are selling since alot are now > 31 for Regular. I don't care for the frayed hem - would have to hem

The hosts really should really help their viewers with information about the items. Not hard to give lengths on pants or tops, is it? I guess it is...cause they rarely rarely rarely do. Same old complaints with no action.

Customers are like teeth...ignore them and they'll go away.

This is one of my biggest gripes QVC is not the only place that trying to find the inseam length is like pulling hens teeth. Other clothing retailers on line are extremely bad about not stating in the inseam.

On Amazon, I wrote to a company asking what their inseam length was and I got some weird description of the size of some odd piece of something??? I think it was a foreign make that did not understand what the inseam is.

I think the Q has discovered informing any inseams cuts down on sales. For instance, they will say it comes in three sizes, but will not say what the inseam is. If they say Petite is 30" inseam, most petites will not purchase. If they just say Petite will purchase. Most aren't going to their computer.

inseams seem to have gotten longer recently at QVC. I have always worn A regular length which used to be 29 inches. Now it seems that regular is 31". I have started ordering petite length now. I am 5 foot 5 1/2 inches tall. I guess they think everybody wears a 2 inch heel with their jeans!

I have to disagree with many here. I don't watch for long periods but most always the inseam is given. I seem to watch a lot when Mary Beth is presenting for some reason, I hear her give all inseams to the viewers.

I know people here do not like to hear they should go to the "click here" for measurements. But, if you truly are considering purchasing and not just griping about hosts, these measurements are very helpful. I too need an inseam listed, I am petite size but borderline where some petite's are too short. In addition to the inseam I also must have the waist and hip measurements. I'm a pretty curvy XS/Small so I need these.

I really suggest looking online before making the purchase. I also shop other places online and have been very surprised they don't give ANY measurements. Plus, there is usually one very tall and thin model wearing the apparel which doesn't help. I want to give kudos to QVC and HSN for almost always posting all the measurements of the garment.

Not all bodies are shaped the same. I am only 5'3" but prefer a 31" inseam since I have a very short torso but very long legs!!

SG makes a LOT of shorter inseams....check out her line. I never buy her pants/jeans since they are WAY too short for me.

Are you serious? They still charge for exchanges! I have a stack of complaints I have made about CLAIMS they have made about crappy products & when I returned them, they still charged me shipping & handling! I have stopped buying from them. I have a box of junk that doesn't work like they said it would & a giant box of clothes I NEVER wear because they don't look good waiting for our city cleanup! It makes me sick to see how much money I have spent & throw away every year.

Even the Chinese who have been sewing and manufacturing for years and years, do not know how to measure!

picture this: two women cutting and sewing two same items...let's say pants. BOTH SIZE 12. One waist will be 36 and the other size 12 will be 40.

So we cannot gauge sizes to buy!

Yesterday, I was shopping for jeans online. In particular, I was looking for selvage jeans at a certain brand. I've purchased skinnies at this same brand a few times and know my size, so I looked at the measurements. When compared to the selvage, there was an inch and a half difference in the waist of the same size jeans. (Throws up hands!) UGH.
