I have a large Noe bag that I've had for probably 20 years. I carried that bag for 3-4 years straight when first got it. Look at me, I got a Louie. Now, can care less about handbags. I prefer simple, inexpensive and functional.

But, about twice a year I do pull it out and carry it for a day or two. It's still in good shape and has that golden patina color. The only thing is the drawstring is worn out. I know I can go to a LV store and get it replaced but I hear it's about 50.00 or more.

Somebody told me to go to a sporting goods store and buy a leather lace that is used for baseball mitts. $10 or less. They come in different shades and look the same as the drawstring. I can patina it with olive oil and leaving it outside in the sun for about a week.

Anyone, know anything about that. This is the bag, but mines is darker and broken in.
