Anyone bitten by the Telfar shopper yet?

Quite fascinated by the designer's personal story, Telfar Clemens.

Just received this Welcome note, after scoring the purple shopper:

Simple design.

$200 plus for an ordinary tote bag and it's faux leather. No thanks.

As with all new style, everyone is different in what delights them.

Style blogs have been talking about it for the last 2 years.

The award winning bag made waves in the fashion community in 2020. The bags sold out on their website within seconds, and have been seen on the resale market with a huge markup. Shortly after, Telfar initiated their Bag Security Program, which I took part in first hand. There have only been four Bag Security Programs since the brand’s success in 2020, and customers are currently waiting to receive their bags between July and October 2022.

Love the back story, the shape, the accessability $$.

Reasonable if you grab one when that color comes out.

Then, at SELL OUT, impossible to get, prices sore eBay +.

Telfar Clemens, founder and owner of Telfar, started his brand in 2005 in NYC as an undergraduate student at Pace University. Telfar has been popularized by their highly sought after shopping tote, making appearances from the red carpet to Instagram influencers. Since then the Telfar brand has become a staple for street stylers, celebrities, and models alike.

In 2017, Telfar Clemens received the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award, and invested that money for production of the Telfar Shopping tote.

@1Professor , I've been seeing the Telfars for a while now and keep going back and forth on them. There was a soft blush color I was going to buy in the spring but never did. How would you describe the weight? Thanks

@Tori3569 Lite! So comfortable. My shoulders love it.

I love finding out how someone on the OUTSIDE of anything breaks through. In a big way. Love supporting his story. Love the bag.
