LOGO Brand Ambassador

Just wondering if LOGO is getting a new brand ambassador? Last night it seemed as though Lori's niece, Allison Goldstein is being prepped as a new spokesperson maybe. Not sure what to make of it...any thoughts?

@cheriere I don't much care if the designers themselves show up - after a few years of them having done so, I pretty much know what they are likely to say. We are not buying their designer lines, so a good rep is fine with me.

Occasionally Isaac offers a nugget from his own life, but nothing that encourages me to order. The good news is that I like his voice.

@cheriere I wouldn't be at all surprised. Allison has worked with Lori on her Logo brand since its inception. She's in a lot of the Logo social media posts as well.

I do prefer the designers showing up for their product. I just found it odd since she already has George Brescia.

I thought the same as you. It was so unusual that it must be that Lori may be trying to move on a bit and not be so involved at the Q. If Allison is on next Monday when Lori has the TSV, I would bet she will be introduced as the new Brand Ambassador. I love George Brescia and think he does a wonderful job, so I hope he's not leaving.

Yikes.

Saw her "introduction" yesterday.

She has no particular talent, expertise, experience.

George is award-winning years in fashion.

For many products, you just need someone to show features.

NOT FOR FASHION.

She has nothing to add. She can talk about seaming, shapes, colors.

Lori and George can talk about style.

Plus Lori wears LOGO well on the show . . .

@1Professor I kinda thought the same thing. She'll definitely want to work on her television voice. After purchasing the last TSV, I'd sworn off buying anything else from the brand.

Lori lives in Palm Springs now, at least 90% of the year, to be closer to her mother. Her posts show that she absolutely loves it there.

I haven't seen anything worth buying from logo in a couple of years and that was when the price point was high enough already. It would have to be pretty spectacular for me to buy.

To me it looks like Lori will be stepping back. Since moving to the west coast why would she want to fly cross country to do an hour or two hour show. She's had her career before joining the Q so she probably tried this for a while, although probably lasted longer than she envisioned. More power to her, sit back and enjoy your home in Palm Springs and just pop in now and again.

Lori didn't sell her business to Qurate.

It was purchased by Xcel Brands and she has been an Xcel employee since then.

I know what you mean. Back in the early days I purchased more from logo. The last item I ordered was the TSV waffle mock neck top...against my better judgement. But, t was a solid color and promised to be super soft and not scratchy in every presentation. Boy, was I let down. I just wish they'd not have said anything at all about the fabric instead of what they did...very disappointing.

I wondered the same thing. And I would assume she will be taking on the role as no way they've had her on simply for laughs and giggles.

And I've just got to say this. In general I really, REALLY wish QVC would take into consideration the pleasing or non pleasing aspects of the voices of vendors and hosts.
