Pantone Color for 2024 is PEACH FUZZ

"PEACH FUZZ" has been chosen as the Pantone color of the year for 2024.

It was explained that a nurturing color like Peach Fuzz was picked because there are so many things swirling around us these days.

lol I knew it was going to be in the orange family because one of the designers (I think Isaac) let it slip a few months ago. 😃 All of them have to know what it's gonna be way in advance in order to pick their colors and styles for the upcoming year.

I'm very fair and colors like this are awful on me. I need deep colors for a contrast.

Love the color hate the dress. Used to have that color in the bedroom & bathroom. I still have my peach accessories.

Glad I've never been one to follow trends. I don't wear this color or decorate with it either.

It's pretty but I don't normally gravitate towards pastels in either fashion or home decor.

I'm very fair, too and this is a great color for me! I'm very pale with yellow tones to my skin and green eyes. Dark colors wash me out.

I have green eyes too. I didn't mean dark as in brown. I need color - like reds, greens, blues. Pastels do not like me.

I saw this on the Today show this morning. It's a pretty soft graceful color to my eyes.

We'll see how it translates to textiles, paint, gadgets, etc.

Much better than hot pink or burnt orange...those are yuks for me to look at let alone to wear.

They need to choose a color with more umph. Peach Fuzz is too washed out and too close to many peoples' skin tone. I'd look nude if I wore it. I like peach but always avoid it because it's too pale.

I like it for home decor.

Imo, sometimes the color of 'peach' is really more the color of apricot.

In my eyes, 'peach' has a bit of pink or soft red, while apricot is more light orange with a hint of yellow.

Anyway, the dress color in the posted photo is a nice, very soft blush peach.

I guess it's all in the way our eyes see 'this and that' color.

As a warm "autumn" I might be able to wear this, but it would look better if it were a tad deeper/more pigmented. "Springs" would look fantastic in this color!
