Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

Q might have figured out that giving LOGO, essentially, to Amy Stran and a two-hour Monday slot isn't working any more. Recently, many changes in how the line is showing.

The LOGO shows went from 5 pm to 7 pm East Coast time.

Then recently changed to 6 pm to 8 pm.

Then a week ago Amy announced Lori would personally appear on the Monday shows (she did the last 2).

Items popping up more often on other shows.

*Today, LOGO down to 1 hour on Monday.

Among other things, I study persuasion and marketing.

Just means I think about this stuff.

I realize there are all sorts of reasons for temp program changes.

So, this may be temp, but it's feeling like experimenting with some new thinking about LOGO showings.

I was a huge LOGO fan from the outset. Now have enough jeans, wide, boyfriend, straight, tie dye, painters, to open a store. Some fabulous denim jackets.

* However, stopped buying the last few shows.

I suspect the LOGO designer team is letting all sorts of folks design, with Lori approving.

Haven't been drawn to the "new."

Many (last week) seemed ill-thought. Great to give young designers a chance. However.

I have also been a fan since the start of her line. But, I am over all the tie-dye. Completely over.

IMO, the LOGO line has always been quirky and appeals to women who like unique items and march to the beat of their own drummer.

Women who prefer classic and more mainstream clothing styles probably do not even watch LOGO presentations. I have noticed that LOGO is now offering choices that have the potential to be worn by more conservative dressers.

Some of her sweaters are very classic.

I think the "new" is being produced to pull in new shoppers.

Kim Gravel's line seems to be given top priority and her stuff sells well.

Perhaps, LOGO's sales are down and they're tying to reorganize to save it by changing their offerings.

Over the years, many lines have been cut back or discontinued altogether. If the line doesn't bring in enough money, the line discontinued.

I think LOGO is in rescue mode. They're trying to save it.

I love Logo, but my purchases have gone down significantly, these past few years.

First of all, the prices are just too much for me, considering the types of garments LOGO is currently offering. I would happily pay top dollar for a beautiful embroidered or embellished LOGO piece from yesteryear, but the present batch of plain, inconsistently sized and what I could only describe as "ordinary" clothing, I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on. I wait for sales and then, sadly, my size and color choice is already sold out, or I've lost interest.

I did recently purchase a Lavish piece that looked like a beautiful top from years ago, but unfortunately, it ran really, really small, so it's on its way back. It's sad to see what has happened to this line, and to QVC in general. I have started buying more clothes from Zulilly and Amazon.

Logo is becoming more mainstream. The quirkness is still there, but increasingly it's changing. It's always sold well. Kim Gravel has to have the best selling clothing line from QVC ever. So maybe they're hoping to have another with Logo.

@Carmie You nailed it, "RESCUE" happening.

2 hours every Monday with Amy was not helping the line (in addition to the design choices).

Amy is 1 body type, XXS.

As a host, she tries on and changes to every single item, even putting on various colors of the SAME item when they have models.

I think that your reasoning may be correct, that there is experimenting going on. Also, some of the adjustments may be temporary to accommodate holiday and seasonal shows. Making room for Black Friday shows including the push of electronics, gifts and gadgets, food and food preparation, home decor and decorations. With the exception of party clothes, fashion this time of year takes a back seat. In my opinion 😀

Other than her leggings which I have a couple of in the lace which are very nice and normal looking, I find her line obnoxious and childish. Her "everything goes with everything" is ridiculous and so not true, and her items are waaaayyy overpriced. I won't even go into the monotonous constant tie-dye pieces. Then they pick the worst host to wear her clothes, Amy S. I mean that, she is so petite and tiny that she gets swallowed up in Logo clothes and then they look even more ridiculous. Her tops end up looking like a dress on her. Logo is just plain overpriced and juvenille.

I never watch the LOGO shows anymore. I just don't wear that type of quirky clothing. I'm over tie dye as well and the pants are not my jam.

Good point on Everything Goes With Everything!

Because I now suspect that is the reason new design styles are odd.

No matter what some person on her new Team designs, she is likely to react "Sure!" or "Why not?"

I never took her line seriously for my case because I run "hot" and all that layering is out for me. At this point I own only four rather conservative tie dye tops.

I liked her line earlier on and still own some of her tops and leggings that I still wear. I did lose a few tops though which disappointed me because they were expensive. I had 3 tops that ended up with little tiny holes all over them. I am a nutbag about taking care when I launder these items so there was no excuse for it. I stopped ordering years ago as I also didn't care for the newer styles she started creating. The line has become stale or maybe I'm just getting bored with it like I seem to have lost interest in some others too.

@1Professor I don't know who you think should host the LOGO shows because imo Amy is the best part of those shows. A different host without a different product wouldn't sell me anything.

@KittySoftPaws I agree that Logo completely overwhelms petite Amy Stran, one of my favorite hosts. The tops truly do look like dresses on her. Logo seems very disproportionate for Amy's size. It seems like one of the few designers for petites (CCB) at QVC has not been on QVC for quite a while. Her line seems to be decreasing. Recently, it seems QVC is catering to very tall women. Please don't forget about the rest of us, petites.

When Logo first came to QVC, I ordered quite a few items. I liked her tops in particular. I still have them and wear them but honestly when the line shifted over to the sharkbite them and layering multiple pieces and colors (and yes I'm over the tie dye too), I stopped buying.

I seldom watch the shows - I like Amy but in small doses & since I don't purchase anything from the line any more, there's no reason for me to watch. I don't agree with Lori's "everything goes with everything" philosophy. That doesn't work for me. Hey I'm open to trying new things but it has to work for me and honestly her things don't do it.

Two hours was too much IMO and yes I think they are in rescue mode for the line. Kim Gravel's line is more "friendly" IMO for most women since it's not so over the top and chaotic. Just my opinion.

I love the fit of LOGO denims .... both the pants and the jackets.

I like the tunic length tops ... they fit my long torso. Shark bite hems are my fave. (I make shark bite hems on the sweaters I knit or crochet. )

I like the splashy prints and color combinations.

I like the fact that she makes long sleeves. I only wear long sleeves.

I almost always dress in a layering style ... works for me.

I too have that shibori jacket and I still love mine. I also love her jeans and have so many. They are the best.

@1Professor. I think you can't call something a trend that they do in the hectic pre-holiday season. There are been many program changes recently, especially with reducing 2-hour shows to 1-hour to allow more time for gift or TSV shows.

I feel sorry for Lori if they make her travel to Philly once a week since she now lives in Palm Springs. That's quite an imposition.

I'm with whoever said she's over tie-dye. Amen to that!

I think this Smiley Face thing was the worst idea anybody on QVC ever had. It appears to not be selling. We are so over them. No way would I buy that sort of thing.
