I don't have anything like that, but yes. Don't like big sleeves on me, and the side slit is too high for me. Otherwise, very nice!

No. I don't refrain from all my favorites foods to wear a voluminous, shirt dress. I like fitted clothing but when I think of shirt dresses, I think of women in 1957 wearing fitted shirtwaist dresses anyway.

Shirt dresses (especially cotton knit) aren't my style, neither is the volume here.

Good example of too much fabric usually adds weight, although, it works for her build.

Traditional fit shirt dresses look fine on others.

I'm not a fan of shirt dresses and don't wear them. At least this one posted has some style to it but I still wouldn't wear it.

Never. I haven't worn a dress in probably 30 plus years. Don't one one now and more than likely won't own one in the future.

I think of a shirt dress as being fitted at the waist. My mother wore them in her 30s and 40s, then switched to loose housecoat dresses with snaps. I don't wear dresses but am thinking I may try a few skirts.

The pictured dress strikes me as more of a robe or beach coverup. Perfectly awful 🫣

NOPE!! As a matter of fact, I just don't wear dresses or skirts. I did wear a gown when DD gor married last year but that was the first dress of any kind in over 20 years. I wear dressy pants when I need to.

@Meowingkitty My daughter was married in 2011. That was the last time I wore a dress. I also retired that year...so my wardrobe has changed a lot and I am fine with that. 🤗

Yes, I love shirt dresses and wear them whenever I can. I have always had at least one shirt dress style in my closet. I wear different variations of them.

I do have a white dress very similar to this dress. It's longer without the thigh slits and sleeves are full but not as dramatic. I never wore it. Just never found the right occasion. We're going to Puerto Rico in the spring so I'll probably take it with me.
